  1. Sad Bot I would say ~isn't~ unplayable, rather if you are not doing budget decks and or going for optimal card choice, I don't see Sad Bot having a home outside of those two case scenarios. I think Commander Sphere was put into more decks this week than Sad Bot.

  2. Hot take, ready?; cedh isn’t “having a moment”, the entire one format will be splitting into two.. not like people think, it’s not gonna be “cedh gets its own banned list” (because that’s a logical nonstarter for one) rather, the edh world will be splitting to cedh and battle cruiser edh where the rule zero will be something like “no two card win cons and no infinite combos”. That’s bad news to a good % of Edh players who don’t want to have 3 hour creature battles because it means they are actually going to have to learn how to build decks and determine what commanders are genuinely powerful, hell.. what cards are genuinely powerful. And a lot of people will have to learn the actual rules of the game. I think we are nearly standing at the end of like Aristocrat decks and critical mass combos and using dead eye navigator and we are gonna see people trying to win the game and stop others from winning and then the other people who just want to play dinosaur tribal or whatever will be able to do that w each other. The power level/rule zero thing is never going to work and in the end all roads lead to cedh or banning combos.
    That’s the take
    🖖namaste homies.
