Recently the FNAF internet has been up in arms over the possibility that Gregory from fnaf security breach isn’t exactly what he seems. And there are some who support this idea, and others who are absolutely against it. So today we aim to help settle this debate. Hmm,if Gregory really is a robot rebuilt version of CC,then there must be four variations of CC,similar to Charlotte in the novel trilogy,so if that's true,then who's the fourth version of CC as a adult?I don't believe this theory,but it's interesting,and why would want to kill his own rebuilt version of CC,his own son,assuming that William put him back together

I personally think Gregory can stay in freddy due to him having some sort of protection so his circumstances don't get fried, same with why woukd the other bots attack him, sure they might even been ordered too but Roxy can see through stuff, surly shed be able to see through an animatronic shell, also Gregory could just be a smart kid, or a older kid but just really short
I can see why people think Gregory is not human but I just don't see it I also feel like it's just too much and complicated for the fnaf series, i mean if they executed it properly I could see and understand, but i like him being just a human kid better
Also funtime freddy actually has a sound disk, meaning that it's canon in the fnaf universe.
The disc can explain the red vision when see Vanny to make it easer to.get Gregory.
bro im not hating matpat for the theory that gregory is animatronic child,i respect his theory so i came up with my own theory too is that gregory is a homeless lost child who has left home for something that could be happening,and when gregory's vision gets all weird when vanny gets near him is just him getting a little hallucinative with vanny possibly having a weird scent that can make people's vision weird and make it look like an old camera

Honestly, I think Gregory is the robotic version of Crying Child. Hell, Crying Child's name is probably Gregory!! Plus, this might be what Afton meant by his line after the Bite of '83, "I will put you back together." So yeah, I agree with this theory.
The reason the screen turns staticy when near Vanny is for gameplay purposes only and if he actually saw the static he'd most likely talk about it. Also Gregory and CC have completely different personalities
I’d like to point out one thing that just sticks to me when I am playing Freddy can’t see Vanny but Gregory CAN see Vanny the reason for this is because Vanny has a scrambler in her mask so animatronics can’t see her HOW CAN GREGORY SEE HER IF HE IS A ROBOT

My Reason For Believing this Theory Could Be Possible is That: You Wouldnt Just Introduce a Character in the fnaf franchise and not do anything with them in later games and all aftons introduced so far have made more than one appearance So Logically Crying Child Would Appear in a later game also

Good theory but i dont like security breach because of the afton ending because what the point of hyping him up and then let him die in the game,the afton ending better not be the canon ending.
I kindly don't agree to Gregory being an animatronic because if he was what's the point of
1. Vanessa trying to get him out.
2.Vanny hunting him down
3. The animatronics trying to get him, if he was an animatronic then why are the other animatronics trying to get him?
That's my opinion although I love everyone's arguments, whether he is or not.

4:44 Gregory has dark eyes? Seriously they are a very bright shade of brown.
It's pretty odd what the FNaF community has to resort to in order to make sense of things.
I can claim every human in the games at some point in time is actually a robot because there are robots in the book that are capable of mimicking (almost) every aspect of the human condition. How is nobody noticing how big of a slippery slope that is?
The endings are highkey silly not solely because of Gregory being able to drive a van (granted, it was on a straight one way road with no other cars, traffic lights, stop signs, etc. and realistically any 9 year old can just drive in a straight line away from a place) but also because of the double Vanessa ending. Gregbot brings forth so much more complicated questions vs him just being some scrappy orphan with high street smarts (and no, he's not a wiz tech, he was afraid of even touching Freddy when replacing his parts)
Why were we seeing two Vanessa's?
Why would Vanny need to kill another robot Afton wanted to make himself and had sentimental value towards?
Given Gregory isn't affected by the vision thing and the animatronics were, that hints to him being a more advanced model hence being newer than them, but who would be responsible for creating such a humanoid robot based off of some random kid who's victim to a tragedy taking place 50 years prior?
William stated he wasn't capable of creating humanoid robots on the level of Henry. Who else would, long after both of them are dead?
Why would they build a specific robot like Gregory, of whom Afton/Vanny is looking forward to kill?
If he's 40+ years old then it's no doubt he's self aware about his robotness, why would he refer to himself as being made of meat and a human kid?
If they know he's a robot, why wouldn't Afton look to corrupt him alongside Freddy? His virus is capable of overriding literally any and all electronics within the Pizzaplex, why not Gregory?
We still don't know how tf William is still alive after the books have also stated you need fire to kill remnant and Henry literally burned William to death. How was he still here period? And with enough of a consciousness to become a computer virus??? 😭
