I think you're missing the whole point to this game bro, you avoid killing the zombies, they give you experience points for you to level up, why save the weapons when you can find new weapons everywhere lol.
It's tied to the other game because of Sam b though. But what's the question is if riptide Dead Island still is Canon cuz at the end of that one they came out of the boat and they were supposed to be zombies so either they reverted back to being human or riptide didn't happen but Sam b says that he's been through it before so he references the first Dead Island
I like Brad saying he thinks this is a separate from the first game and that he doesn't remember that much when Sam B is a character from the first game. XD
