Great video. I would like to add though in my personal experience with officer encounters and also in speaking with my best friends dad who is a officer of over 30 years, they often do not recognize the acronym used as a word (at least not here in FL). More times than not if you ask an officer “What is your RAS?!”, they will likely respond back confused. As opposed to just saying “What is your Reasonable Articulable Suspicion?”. I know it is a tongue twister at times, but the ultimate goal is to disengage and remove room for more dialogue so not creating the confusion by calling it “Ras” may help speed that process.

The guy behind the camera isn't that smart. He keeps saying " you can't convict me" It's like he has no idea how court proceedings happen.

I am sorry, but this guy is doing a terrible job with these cops. I usually find cops to be tyrannical but with this one I think the guy making this video is the foolio!!! He has no business trying to argue legal matters with these cops. He should have shut up after saying he wasn't going to ID himself and that he wasn't going to discuss anything with the cops. So, I am not sure why he kept talking. I am not a lawyer but even I found some statements he made as incriminating himself. I fault the video maker and give a pass to these two cops. They may not be good but heck they are more sensible than this dude.

"A call…." without RAS of an actual crime is nothing but hearsay. But tyrants ALWAYS use it as some form of evidence to violate rights and abuse authority. And they cannot "investigate" a non crime. Until the important RAS is present, police can ONLY conduct enquiries to try and find evidence of a crime to instigate an investigation. "There's two sides to every story……" but act on the phone call only. Scum tyrants like these morons rely on people not knowing their rights, and HATE people with cameras who know their rights. "We're not going to argue…." is the go to phrase tyrants use when they know they have nothing, but STILL try to push their pathetic ego fueled power trips

This video always bugs me. The cops are CLAIMING he drove the wrong way in a one-way. What they DON'T say is that it was a one-way STREET. I suspect, from what was said in the video, is the posted "one-way" was *in a parking lot.* The cops have no juridiction to enforce a "one-way" sign posted by a PRIVATE business.
At any time, he could have said "you are saying my PARKED VEHICLE violated a traffic code… cite my vehicle, because you can't definitively say I was driving it when the incident happened."

you dont have to ID in ANY state , if you arent pulled over while driving, until you are CHARGED with a crime. not SUSPECTED of. RAS does not require you to ID . CHARGED with a crime.
What the hell does the skinny cop have in his vest a pup tent, a hammock? How dumb has these gadget vest become? They do the chicken wings stand with them, they have so much stuff on the vest they can’t even make contact with half of their arms. Guarantee they don’t do any custody and control exercises with that vest on, which will lead them to go to taser or gun quicker because they can’t hold on to suspects or arrestees.
These cops are scared to death of decisions. Probable good guys, but they need more experience that 99% of people are good people. An arrest is forever on a persons record, changing their future forever. A ticket takes money from the family. It’s not just a job it is a decision that can change people lives forever.
