  1. Funny watching the same media that jumped all over Watson like this was the Salem Witch Trials and now back peddling because they realized how wrong they are. I hope you and the rest of the media publicly apologize to Watson.

  2. You have to remember he is a lawyer most of the stuff he says is not his opinion its the law in lamins terms so people can understand it better. Like Watson he is right what he has is a fetish that's the reason the criminal charges was dropped. Watson put women in uncomfortable situations by not stating he wanted more then a massage but he didn't force anyone to do anything. That's why he paid 20 of them and will pay the other 4. So like what he did or not by letter of the law what did he do besides maybe make the brand look bad. So florio just saying what the judge should do by the law. Its nice getting a lawyers side of it

  3. Watson’s legal team didn’t put up a fight in the court of public opinion because they were using the rope a dope strategy. When they saw that Buzbee and the NFL were leaking libelous information, the Watson team sat back and prepared to win in the only arena that actually matters…Judge Robinson’s hearing.

Now the NFL has no evidence of a crime or even a policy violation AND Judge Robinson is pissed at the NFL for all the leaks.

I could see her ruling for zero games just because nothing rises to the level of a personal conduct violation PLUS making sure she doesn’t had the keys back to the NFL to disregard her decision since they have now continuously proved they undermined the process at basically every turn.

EDIT: At 17:25 Mike says he’s expecting the Watson team to start pushing back in the media. This is because now their strategy has been used and they didn’t tip their hand and point out weaknesses they planned on using during the hearing. Doing that any earlier would have allowed the NFL to try to mitigate those weaknesses. The Watson legal team primary focus is winning the hearing, not making those “casual observers” feel comfortable. That can come later once the victory in Judge Robinson’s hearing is obtained.

  4. One point I'm shocked you missed. If the Judge decided that Deshawn Watson did what he is accused of, but that no punishment is warranted because of the lack of punishment for Kraft/Snyder/Jones, then she is out of a job because at that point it's going to be almost impossible to punish anyone for anything that they are not going to be going to jail for.

  5. 26 minutes in, I thoroughly enjoyed Florio stressing the idiocy of the leaker for undoing a great PR move that had protected Dan Snyder and thus the league. For those of you that don't know, the leaker was almost guaranteedly Dan Snyder, whose desire for petty revenge against Bruce Allen outweighed his limited common sense – Gruden was simply collateral damage.

  6. Failed to Present evidence to who? Aren’t you supposed to have your day in court? Why let the other side see your strategy before you go to “court” by putting out all the info to the press.

  7. Finally some good legal analysis by Florio. However, he is not innocent of creating misinformation for the general public in this case. He pushed the accusers’ position hard, knowing full well that “26 people accused him, so he must have done something” is not a legal argument and is entirely invalid in front of a judge. Just now he comes around to the fact that without evidence accusations mean nothing in any kind of fair procedure.

  8. ive been telling you this Florio for months now , he should not get suspended even for one week , he did nothing wrong , they all could have just said no and left , but some went back for seconds and thirds hahaha

  9. No evidence of coercion? You lose me a little bit there, many of the accusers accounts include coercion, so does this "no evidence" thing mean the NFL failed to make its case?

  10. Deshaun Watson should not be suspended at all folks, he's not on trial, watch what happens to the Owners here….there's no way he's suspended for a year after sitting out last year!!! Watch it Unfold!!!

  11. This is him covering his tracks on all the mob justice he and other media personalities tried to create against Watson. Watsons camp does not have to convince a mob, Watsons camp has to plea to the NFL and the conduct policy, that is it. Watson might not get one day of suspension, but all these media guys created such a Mountian of mis information, that they will not be able to wrangle the mob back in. The media is to blame for the hate and anger that will follow the outcome.

  12. I think he’ll get the 1 year suspension, but as more information comes out over the year he’ll get another 8 games in 2023 tacked on to it
