Pokemon vs Digimon has the same basis as Star Trek vs Star Wars, they have literally nothing in common except some superficialy similar visuals (anime monsters and a space setting) and a similar name ('mon' and 'star' in the title). Aside from that they have nothing to do with each other, they're not in competition and you can like both.
