I've got a theory: Radagon and Merika had Malenia and Miquella, we know that, but what if they had another child. Messmer. He fits the pattern of having a name beginning in M and also has the signature red hair of Radagon

Based on recent interview from Miyazaki Messmer could be the unwanted child of Marika but from whom, could be from Radagon as he shares red hair feature. Miyazaki also mentioned shadow realm was once part of Lands Between but was now separated so why? The player will eventually learn this mystery as Miquella guide us, the player in the realm of shadow.
My theory is that Mesmer is the Radagon to Miquella's Marika

I love that, they make miquella the dlc.. because i have been kicking every soualsborne boss easy except for malenia… Most of the time, i beat soalsborne boss less then 10 times except malenia that take me 32 times before killing Her.. she is never known defeat…. I think no one ever defeat her first time purely.. or less then 10 times purely without cheat.

While i dont think this is miquella and i believe its another child of marika and radagon, i believe there is another possibility that messmer what miquella becomes after being affected by moghs blood/formless mother. The blood could have mutated or changed miquella so much, similar to griffith into femto. But after all who knows, just possible theories.
Dude your theory of Messmer being the love child of Mohg and Miquella makes zero sense.
1) they're both males.
2) Messmer clearly says "Mother" in his trailer
3) Messmer is a demigod, a direct descendant from either Merika (most likely) or Rennala

I really like the theory that Messmer is Marikas bastard child that was doomed to the land of shadows. Fromsoft have stated that the DLC covers the land where Marikas first steps were taken, as well as Miquellas current journey. It would also line up with the butterfly theory (aeonian butterfly = Malenia, nascent butterfly = Miquella, smoldering butterfly = Messmer?). Would also be a good bet as to who Messmer is referring to when he says “mother” in the trailer. Either way, whenever we see Miquella in the DLC, instead of fighting him, I want a whole new ending, but I guess we’ll see what they have in store

I have a theory that the image of the old man and the possibly PREGNANT woman shown in the trailer is the Blind Swordsman and Melania in her youth before the Rot took her limbs and looks away, I also am almost convinced Mesmer is their son, Miquella or Marika may have banished him away to this shadow dimension as he was not meant to exist.
The red hair alone suggests it may be another kid of Radagon and Marika
