I don't like open back either but Rivendell is not a good example of that
I totally agree about the open back sets, it's a small annoyance I find and I think it takes away from the overall look of the build. I also don't like the way it sort of cramps what is on the inside into a smaller area. I can understand that this is a way Lego can cut costs but I would prefer a fuller exterior. I think the Creator cosy house is a perfect example of this; I would have paid more for a full house but as is I don't think I want it regardless of the price

Kindof sucks getting into modulars right now. I hope they remake the cinema. Trying to find a good deal on assembly Square but not ready to pull the trigger yet. Love the book store and the police station looks awesome. I see a lot if potential for my own lego city.
