You don’t have anything to lose if Stidham is your starter next year and try to develop a new QB under him he could teach the system or even save you enough money to build a defense that everyone is complaining about. You weren’t gonna get a good defense when you owe 40 million to a Qb that can’t get you to the playoffs.
So, speculation aside, why the hell didn’t they bring Stidham in earlier?! What a wasted season for such an amazing set of players! I've been saying since the beginning of the season when Jarrett Stidham won all four preseason games against a lot of starters this guy should be given a chance but all of the DC fanboys thought that maybe nine seasons of sucking wasn't enough he should be allowed to continue LOL
I wouldn't mind us picking up Will Levis from Kentucky. He has alot of typical qualities that NFL QB need. And then concentrate on defense in th3 draft.

DC paper man that never took a hit? Maybe you forgot how his back got broken, foot beoken, ribs broken, etc. I’m not saying we should still have DC here- but give credit. DC got hit so many times it’s stupid to try making a pass when needed. That wasn’t his problem. He was the fumble king. He wouldn’t throw to open receivers, but force it to guys in double coverage. He did say (with more than one coach) he was being told to throw it to exactly one player many times. So I am not a “CARR IS THE GREATEST” nut job. But you don’t have to bash one guy to show the other is good.
I Hope Stidham shows him up- and takes us to a superbowl win next season. I think Stidham has massive potential, and hope his knowledge in this system works out. But ask someone who knows nothing about Raisers and show the stats of last game- lost a double digit lead to loose the game, threw those interceptions, etc- and they couldn’t separate last game from the other losses of this year.
And yes- that play you broke down of 17 TD was Perfectly executed by Stidham
