Did they nerf that thing or Josh is just a bad Non GS hunter? I finished most of World as a bow user and always had knock down with the rain… Then again he used an ice bow against Val so maybe I should not ask these things
Val Haazak is only beaten by Nergigante for my favorite Elder Dragon. Both versions of him are amazing and he's just so damn cool!
The "spinny bug buff" is the move you use to feed your kinsect slinger ammo to power it up. It also allows the kinsect to grab up to 2 extracts before returning.
I was half assleep amd accidentally deleted my monster hunter save file after years of pmaying. Starting it back up i tried going to my room with hopes it glitched and kept my pets…while sad i list everything i was suprised that room was there befoee you get the fancy room

I think the trouble with Vaal being considered easy is that it only takes maxing out the effluvium resistance skill, which is only 3 levels of a 1 slot deco, and you completely negate the main mechanic of him. He still hits you hard obviously, he's an elder dragon, but the halving of health is gone

Another interesting fact about the Smithy at the Research Base is that he’s a Fiver, much like the Hunter, Handler, Aiden, and Serious Handler. He does state, however, that he and the Hunter likely never interacted, up until they met at the Research Base.
I’d discovered this about a couple weeks ago, a few months after beating Xeno’jiiva, as I’ve been playing World, several months before the Return to World started. Specifically since May, when I finally began my MH journey. I’ve also been playing Now and, as of New Years Eve, started a bit of Tri.
Hi Josh, would it be possible for you to reverse the sorting on the "Monster Hunter World Pro and Noob" playlist to oldest->newest. I started to watch your world journey again, but after every video I have to skip one backwards to watch the next episode in the right order. It makes it very tedious sadly to watch the playlist :/ I there a possibility to change it if you see this?
I still maintain it was a missed opportunity not to use the actual wheel of weapons from the 20th anniversary event

wow, the MH team really doesn't know how to do horror justice. i mean from the same company as Resident evil and they gave us; Khezu the penis meme, gigginox the thing everyone forgot about, and vaal hazak the undead dragon everyone falsely calls the weakest elder simply because he has a mitigation skill. um teostra exists guys, he requires nothing in you build to be a trivial fight in this game. vaal's moveset does need work, blackvale added some nice things but i think they could give him a great redemption arc. hell, fatalis was utterly worthless for a decade and a half until a marketing mistake hyped the fans up to much that they felt they had to fix him. one of vaal's issues is like original anginath, he uses his bigger attacks very rarely, the playing dead and the if you are infected he'll drink you attacks. it's even funnier that the team has no clue how to horror if you know about the original very dark fantasy look the series almost had in very early concept art.
Vaal Hazak not having much physical abilities makes sense, given that his evuiluvium death touch is enough to kill most creatures.
