When you are going out in a small boat like that never stray too far away from the shore because you don't know what may happen. Always carry an extra paddle or a small electric motor. I'm a kayaker and I do this all the time and a large boat a dingy with an electric motor. I feel bad for the guy but you must always be repaired for situations like this.
Saltwater doesn't sting your eyes, I open my eyes underwater all the time, it doesn't burn or sting at all..I grew up on the gulf, I try to convince people to do it, but everyone's too scared, I promise you, it does not hurt at all..Bill sharks have the highest testosterone, they will bite back to back to back in seconds, they have the same attitude of bulls.
