  1. Metcalf or Lockett would have caught that pass, the Denver receiving corps are hot chunky mayonnaise and at least partially to blame,,,,,,, how TF you supposed to cook with that?

  2. Wait till it's clicks and everyone will change tune and broncos will be singing his praises. He's there for a while and very talented. Remember when the chiefs started off terrible 4 games in everyone said oh mahomes ain't that good, the NFL has figured him out with drop back coverage. Then the chiefs turned it around and mahomes is #1

  3. I'd be willing to bet he thought he could come in to a new 'better' team and do the same thing he's always done, or thought it would be easy. Idk if he'll be excellent again but I think he'll be better next year after the wake up call this year.

  4. MAtt Ryan is friustrated because he just cant do what he used to and he is on his way out at 37ish. Russ should not be falling off this fast. He should have easily been good 2 to 3 more years

  5. As a lifelong Seattle Seahawks fan I definitely understand about the running the ball instead of passing in the end zone. And I'm not defending Wilson at all here he's 100% to blame for everything going on in Denver. But people fail to mention the fact the receiver he wanted to throw the ball to originally slipped and almost fell. So he waited to see if he would get open a little too long.

  6. I’ve been thinking a lot about that interview Richard Sherman gave years ago telling everyone about the culture that babied Russ in Seattle and how he believed Russ wouldn’t be able to survive anywhere else where he wouldn’t be handled with kid gloves

  7. I think part of the problem is the Broncos roster I way overhyped. This idea that “if Aaron Rodgers went there he’d win a Super Bowl” is kind of ridiculous. Their roster is simply not that good. The expectations were way too high from the get go.

At the same time though, Russ looks terrible. He has not looked even a semblance of his former self in the five games they’ve played.

  8. don't get the media, they always say the QB is the CEO of the team, can't be regular like other players, and nobody is a CEO company man more than Russell Wilson. so do they want him to be CEO, or one of the guys. make your mind up

  9. He has never been more than average at best. The defense and the running game were the reasons for the success of the Seahawks. And in the SB loss, the play call is what always gets blamed. Because running was the team strength, that makes sense. But he still threw the interception. Great defensive play to be sure, but he threw the interception. Nobody ever says that. Was there a presnap read he missed? Couldn’t he have thrown it in a place that only his guy could get it? Or an other possible recognition he could have made?

  10. years ago coach monocle, er carroll said in effect Russel was a prima donna. this isn't news. what I am wondering is if, while players are largely christian and engage in public prayer, players like russ and carson wentz take this devoutness to a whole 'nother level. it feels so fake and showy to me. a man of faith, in whatever faith he may be, including no faith at all, is humble in his belief, before his maker, etc. i wonder if that devout performance thing russ and wentz do doesn't bother other grown men like it bothers me. anyway pat, just discovered your show, and i gotta say, i don't want to like it, but you're smart and real. can't help but like the show. you guys understand the game, both the fame and the lame. great work fellas.

  11. Russell Wilson and Russell Westbrook are very similar in terms of public perception, career trajectories, and key mistakes that come often times at the worst moments. They both also seem to be very invested in personal numbers and accolades leading to a lot of hero ball. Only difference is Wilson has managed to win a ring. Both were on pretty stacked teams with other all time greats but questions about them wanting to be the man even at the cost of team success (not running it when you have Beast Mode, taking bad shots in clutch moments instead of passing to kd). Now both on different teams being absolutely lambasted by the media. Kinda interesting to see

  12. I love the show a lot but does anyone else notice AJ always feeling the need to do something with his hands? Crosses his arms, grabs the football and the other video grabs the baseball bat awkwardly like bro just chill, not saying I wouldn’t be nervous on camera but it’s crazy😂

  13. I think broncos ownership is forcing wilson to tank so they can get a #1 or #2 pick in the upcoming 2023 NFL draft. Wilson will still keep his $, they pick up a rookie QB on the cheap who can be mentored by Wilson. Wilson is a “yes” guy and it’s a win-win for everyone.
