The VVitch Movie Review

Due to too many false copyright complaints, I’m switching up my format slightly. Let me know what you think, or if you even notice a difference!

A family in 1630s New England is torn apart by the forces of witchcraft, black magic and possession.

PS. I’m trying 4K uploading again…

  1. I thought it was one of the better period horror movies to come out in a while. The witch in the movie was definitely a really evil villain and I liked how someone did their research and portrayed a lot of the lore associated with classic witches

  2. I saw the much-hyped "Hereditary" (2018), and was bored before the "sky clad" witches' dance. This "early Colonial America" tale was far scarier, because there's no safety net nor help. Thank you for slogging through the period-correct dialogue.;)

  3. I think the witch is about turning into a woman , the powers it has , sexuality , fertility and family … or I couldn’t be looking into it too much and it’s just about the harsh reality of them times with religion & womanhood .

  4. The phrase he's a growing boy will insight a whole new line of thinking for me from now on. Thanks very much for that…. LoL I'm grateful you keep putting these riffs out. I think I'm around the same age as you so I enjoy the mystery science theater elements as opposed to everyone else doing reviews and break downs. Keep doing what you are doing because you consistently keep the laughs coming for me. I appreciate ya.

  5. Please update your "Movie reviews- Binge-O-thon" Playlist. And you are not my favorite YouTube'er. And you don't have the humor I wish I had. Not the best producer on YouTube ever. And I don't love the "what?", "??what?," humor. I don't go back and listen to the puppet sing "ice ice baby" because that's the world i choose to live in. Thoughts I don't have

  6. I've watched your reviews for a few years now and I still enjoy them! Great job as always… quick question, do you think she was a witch ALL along OR did she convert when she had nothing else at the end? Things that make you go… hmmmm

  7. Everyone accused her of being a witch and treated her horribly so I guess in the end she was like, "Fine! You all are convinced I'm a witch then I might as well be one. And hey, maybe it'll be fun. I could make some friends along the way who might actually treat me decently. And being able to fly is fun…"

  8. That is an apple. Apple is used in a lot of horror movies.
In The Sleeping Beauty, The Witch gives her an apple
In other movies, Apple symbolizes Adam and Eve.
Even in Death Note anime, Ryuk loves apples. Who was a Shinigami.

I've seen apples in many others but I can't recall now
