I really dig this mini reviews. No BS just right to it.
Good stuff my man 👌
Also….where the new soilwork album review 🤣
Have you've done a video of 10 Albums Fans of Bands hate? That could make an interesting video
HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!
thank you
Please review the new Electric Callboy album. I personally find it to be incredible!
Wanted to chime in and say I love your mini reviews. I really have a problem with a lot of short form content, it tends to go for cheap emotional reactions, low-hanging fruit, etc… While short, your reviews are insightful and informative. Like in this review where you talk about relevant history and the context leading up to this album. Don't always agree with your takes but I watch every single one of these you put out, please keep it up :D.
Not surprised this has divided fans. When they haven't released anything in 10 years and they release this, it would be huge whiplash for some.
Music for a Cuban style restaurant that's frequented by suburbanite yuppies
I wasn't very impressed by this album personally as I much perfer the post hardcore-prog stuff they used to but I do appreciate how they changed their style and doing a decent job at that
They need to retire
Sucks
More like The Mars Cab For Cutie
LETS FUCKING GOOO
Loved it
It was alright album. Not their best, but better than one before it at least I'd say. I'm fine with it not being in genre TMV mainly known for, just wish it was less dull. 6/10
I loved it. I was wating your review.
This album can be easier for new potential listeners and it's quite polished and good, but I think some of the fans expected a more chaotic Mars Volta sound
They titled it all by themselves
I'm starting to really enjoy this new album. It's better than their last album and they managed to squeeze some of that good old Mars Volta sound without completely ditching their current experimentation (The Requisition). Very excited for the future of this group.
Definitely their worst album ever
I've only listened to it twice, but honestly, it just feels like a less interesting Octahedron. Don't hate it, but don't love it either.
