I hear that Thai will not be reintroducing their A380 in the near future. Shame , & sad to see them parked up at Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok 😢

Anyone else that still has all their A380:s in storage?
When I was coming back from ICN to LHR with Etihad, my last leg was supposed to be with the A380 but ended up on a 777 instead. Can believe I missed it by only a week or 2.
I’ve just been to Manila return from Heathrow Etihad via AD last week and it was on a Dreamliner………….I missed the 380 by a week 😢 The Dreamliner isn’t a patch on the 380, what an aircraft. The A380’s were testing at Abu Dhabi last week both days I went through. There was also two Qantas A380’s parked to one side at AD gathering dust, I wonder what they were doing there?
Living as I do a few miles east of KJFK, I get to see almost every kind of airplane in the sky around my house, but I never get these kinds of views. Thank you, Jerry and Gilly!

I was on that Etihad A380 from Abu Dhabi and was the second of two flights from Phuket. I wasn't aware this was a returning plane after being out of service!! Big scenes at Abu Dhabi prior to departure at 2:05am🎉
