Spaces in between is one of my favorite omori tracks. It just works so well with the game. When you start headspace, it feels normal(ish) only hinting it’s true nature. Upon beating the game, it reveals itself and becomes so much more intriguing. One of few games that foreshadows with music, and does it beautifully as well. Probably second best of the ones you’ve rated so far, imo.
I always thought that last broken chord had 4 notes in it. something, probably B flat, between the A flat and C. I also never perceived the track as something like a hug that doesn’t last long enough. it always felt calming and peaceful while still being empty, more like a hug you have to give yourself when no one else is there to help you
my most anticipated series
