"Werewolves and Shapeshifters" – Supernatural and the Occult From 'Monsters Among Us'

The role shapeshifters have played in stories and legends is explored. The evolution of the concept eventually brought us Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Wolf Man.

Monsters. Ghosts. Zombies. From horror movies to Halloween, we see the creatures that go bump in the night everywhere, but where did they come from? The primal fears of our ancestors fueled the stories that lived on through legend, page, and screen. Join us as we peer into the histories of some of the most prevalent creatures in pop culture, including vampires, werewolves, zombies, and ghosts.

  1. Wilde based Dorian Grey on a well known dissolute , familiar with every vice , who looked like a schoolboy, a young man who when he was found dead in the gutter, had no trace on his perfect face of the excessive life he had led !

  2. What I don’t get is how the Cherubim ANGELS, yes God’s servants had 4 faces: that of a man, an eagle, an ox and, a lion, meanwhile the Catholic Church calls any shapeshifter a demon. The angels either literally had 4 faces stamped on a big ass head, or they shape shifted into those different animals. So again, if gods servants shape shifted, would that not be a god given gift for a man to have it? And then leave it up to man, always jealous and fearful of what’s not in their control aka the catholic church. They need to get control of them priests molesting children and getting high off their adrenaline

  3. By the way, werewolves are not the only human to animal shapeshifters in mythology. There are also werecats, weretigers, werebears, werefoxes, werelions, wereboars, werehyenas, werecrocodiles, weresnakes, and werebirds. In some island cultures, there are even weresharks.

  5. I watched the old Lon Chaney werewolf movies, too terrified to go to bed. Frankenstein, I would cry. They chased him w torches & pitchforks. He just wanted a friend.
So many reports & tales all over the world I think there’s truth to it.
