  1. Can’t imagine her last moments. So random and she didn’t know her killers. Her dad seems like an amazing man and the world is worse for losing her. I have no sympathies for the murderers, but I do wonder what their childhoods were like. No excuses. But I wish people were a nicer species.

  2. I don't see how they figured a bunch of girls and some guys were a rival gang. I call BS. They just wanted to kill someone. They didn't care who.

  3. England should demonize its past, especially Victorian and stop dedicating a morbid "cult" to Jack the Ripper.
that way violence and brutality will no longer be considered normal or inevitable.
it's better than maintaining an unbearable paradox which consists in believing oneself "civilized" to the point of wanting to "civilize" all the rest of the world.
all the tears in the world will not bring back the dead or restore justice for them if they have been victims of intentional homicide, but more caution, common sense and firmness may be able to drastically reduce the list of victims .

  4. Sounds more like this 16 yr old did more of an initiation for the gang and the older kid told him what victim… these group of girls were obviously NOT”rival gang” that doesn’t sound right

  6. STOP FORCING CHILDREN TO TAKE BRAIN DAMAGING, SUICIDE INDUCING, TOXIC PRESCRIPTIONS, AS WELL, FOR NON EXISTENT "MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES" that are actually SYMPTOMS OF CHILD ABUSE. INVESTIGATE THEIR HOME LIFE.

  7. Oh goodness as a teacher I get sooooo sick of schools (and therefore teachers) having to take care of society’s problems. What about the parents?

  8. An act like this is so senseless that the word senseless makes no sense. My thoughts go out to all those who knew Jodie, but first and foremost to her father, Peter Chesney. What can I say? The journey of pain is beyond words. I don't know Jodie. But I will still remember her, simply because of a vicios and cruel act. She seemed so loveable, so sweet and innocent. What a terrible loss.

  9. Do parks not have some kind of lighting till 9pm? If she was there at 6pm or so, there should of been some kind of lighting for kids to enjoy meeting up. Maybe something the city needs to think about doing. They would of had a much better look at the guys sitting close to them.
Take guns away from people for protection and they just use another weapon. This is why gun buy backs don't work. Criminals, killers, etc will find anything as a weapon to harm, maime and kill.
RIP Jody Chesney. May you be shining a camera down upon your family and friends capturing their happy moments. 🙏🏼❤️😇💔

  10. I bet neither of these boys have decent fathers in their lives. It's proven facts that having a good father in the raising of good boys to good men a father is needed 24/7 in their lives.

Instead of the UK worrying about guns back then they should of done the same project on drugs. Have stricter drug laws like they would with guns. Guns save lives.

  11. “What kind of person could do that?”…. I’m sometimes envious of some people’s naivety. The areas I grew up in didn’t allow for it. I personally witnessed the worst of human behavior and always had to be on point to not become a victim.

  12. This is an excellent documentary. One lesson that comes out of this tragic story is that people should ALWAYS trust their instincts and immediately leave a place where they sense danger. Before the stabbing Jodie and her friends got a bad feeling about the two young men who later committed the murder. Jodie and her friends should have left the park immediately after they sensed these two young men were dangerous. I don't blame Jodie and her friends for not doing this. They were young and probably hadn't learned to trust their instincts. I just hope that any parent reading this will tell their children that their instincts are a powerful guardian angel. We should always do what our guardian angel says.

  13. Terrible tragedy as a reflection of the lack of accountability in young people. The children playing at being "gangsters" do not have the capacity to see 20 years down the road how this will ruin the hope for any type of future for them. May this show be a lesson to any youngster watching this and choose to avoid the gang life. RIP Jodi ❤️

  14. As a parent, I cannot even imagine your pain and loss. Jodie is a beautiful, bright light, passionate, involved and was taken by these two POS grubs who do not deserve to be living, even in prison. I see these violent crimes every day in the news and the killing just has to stop ~~ there is a feeling that these grubs don’t want to study or work or obey the laws of the land. They think they can do what they like and pay no price. They glorify drugs and the money they think they will make, and not be held responsible. I understand Peter when he says he doesn’t hate them however I hate them for him and I could never be the brave caring parent he has been. I would be wild and it would destroy my life, so I understand his reasoning. He is a better man than I. Rest easy in God’s loving arms Jodie darling, you really were too good for this horrid world. Until you see you dad again, God bless him and his family. BTW I don’t think Jodie was doing any wrong by being out in a park at 9/9.30 at night ~~ she should have been free to feel safe anywhere she went. I hope these POS grubs, die in prison as their sentences were not long enough, it should have been life for both ~~ no parole ~~ they will get out and do the exact same thing again and the powers that be will be scratching their heads, asking why ~~ truth in sentencing must be a priority ! 💔💔🇦🇺🇦🇺xoxox

  15. I highly doubt that this was a case of mistaken identity. How did they think she was a rival dealer, after having watched her and her "geeky" friends just chatting at the park?? please! it was more likely some gang initiation type of thing

  16. We are strangers, but I just want to let you know that my prayers are with you and your family. What happened to Jodie is such a horrific tragedy. She did not deserve to die that way and her friends did not deserve to witness their best friend being stabbed like that. Such an innocent night, out with friends turned into murder like that is terrible! I as myself how these young kids turn into murderers at such a young age. Their brains are not even developed fully to function rationally with adult choices and the like physically or mentally. I get the Gang bs and how they roll trying to get the young neglected at home kids to run, but what is being done to prevent these kids from invading innocent space like a kids park! What do we have to do as a society? Shut down parks and the like at dusk? Police at these places at dark? Impossibe to have cops staffed like that all the time… Such a dam shame. I am TRUELY sorry for Jodie and for your family. It could have been anyone's child and Jodies tragedy is a reminder of how tender life truely is. I am sure that Jodie is doing what she loves with her photography ( through the lens of her own God given eyes) spending time with animals whom she loved, watching over her people on Earth being their angel. God Bless.

  17. the stupid police should stop saying they are kids and defending them. I am sure these pure human errors know how to eat drink and use the bathroom. I don't care about the age of any murderer. They need to be put to rest in a very b.rutal fashion. Any human who can eat drink and use the bathroom on their own are capable of committing a crime.

  18. Friend said she needed her phone flashlight to see. So how could these two idiots tell that those girls were rival drug gang? I hope they get killed in prison.
