NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns is defending his decision to invest in a new fleet of buses while shelving two metro lines which were set to link parts of Sydney’s west to the city’s new airport.
Mr Minns is citing the immediate need for public transport to an airport which is set to be operational before the connecting metro lines – a timeline he has criticized as he says the amount of jobs, both for building and operating an airport, deserve a current solution.
Both the Coalition and Labor governments in New South Wales continue to clash over how their opposing parties will fund their infrastructure promises.
The polls for the state election in March show Labor with an increasing majority but Perrottet’s personal touch sees him remain the status of preferred Premier.

Just lowt the southwest Sydney vote… fastest growing federal electorate in Australia, yet no train system at all, and roads are too full for buses. Area has been screaming for a trainline extension from Campbelltown for decades.
