Design steampunk pixel airships out of functional modules and conquer the skies!
In the game, ships are viewed side-on, and their modules are operated by individual crew members. During combat, players give high-level commands to a small fleet, positioning their ships, ramming and boarding others. Ships and terrain are fully destructible: they can catch fire, explode, break apart, and fall. Players can also compete against one another in Internet and LAN matches.
The ships are highly detailed, teeming with sailors moving around at their individual tasks, like an ant farm or a cut-away drawing. The player’s choices in ship layout are crucial, and an important part of the game is exploring the design space of different airships and their matching tactics.

Y'know what, dumb thought. Make one of these to specifically ram downwards on people.
Do a Ball with a lot of explosive materials and make then into One Huge Grenade aka a suicide craft
Just had a thought. What if you made a hit and run craft. It’d only be useful in campaign but the idea is it’d extremely fast and loaded with single-use torpedoes. It rushes to intercept a target and then unloads all the torpedoes, flees, reloads at the nearest town and repeats.
Just to say there is a larger version of the sail which is more powerful than the regular one
shame the rams arent very good, they look so cool but theyre so heavy and expensive its more useful to just use struts 🙁
Heyo! Really enjoy your content, especially Airships. Ive noticed though, that you seem to have some trouble with ramming ships. Here are a couple observations or pointers from someone who would happily use ramming as there only weapon:
Your designs are fine, your aiming is off. Remember that the ships always overcorrect there altitude. That means that if you are trying to hit anything just a little bit higher or lower than you, you have to consider the ships path as a curve, not a straigth line. depending on how far away the enemy is, that curve might be interrupted in the middle, which is why your ships end up missing or flying over the enemy.
You can flip and turn in the same move! In this video, you often order your ships to move and flip, to get into a postion to ram. This is not necessary. You can just tell them ram and flip first. One order is all you need.
You DO NOT need more momentum. These are huge and heavy ships, ramming into wood or plates of steel. And all that weight is focused on a very small point on the tip of your ram. Your ship is never going to ram through more than one cannon – your ram just isnt that long – so you should get as many rams in as possible.
Stuff+ alot of the Sails have TOGGLES to become BIGGER versions. Their is a LARGER internal sail, as well as several variations of the other sails. But yeah RAMS are HEAVY! Probably could have used several of the normal rams instead of the spike ram, giving you more Area to RAM with.
The ART of Tiny craft is a Tricky business, but your fleet of Bobbles seem to be working out pretty well.
Mate your using CANVAS for armor…..no suprise they are lossing modules super easily. At least ARMOR the SAIL, thats kinda important.
I think, you need second sail, as minimum.
Also would be good to double ram, so it'd be way easier to hit. However this may increase value and weight signifficantly.
