God is spirit, the third heaven where God dwells is spiritual, the second heaven is the cosmos, and the third heaven is earth if we were to make the right decisions.
The problem is that both theists and atheists alike are under the assumption that the bible (KJV) teaches that this earth is God's first and only rodeo.

From the beginning that plan is the Word (Law) that entails a savior that completes or finishes the law (Word). Jesus was chosen to be that savior (the Word made flesh). The Word is not Jesus, but Jesus is apart of the Word. (God’s law is the “God” we are to love with all our heart, soul, and mind, Matt. 22:37).
John 1:2 is the beginning of God's initial creating, starting with the "word" (the “only begotten”) (a plan and rules for creation, John 1:3 (KJV)). We are not told how long ago this beginning was but by our finite senses of the known universe we know that it was over googol of years ago.
