THE Live Show: Ohio State players and suspect draft advice, Buckeyes find transfer portal success

Ohio State had a number of players who didn’t get drafted where they expected to be, but is there anyone to blame for that?

Plus, the Buckeyes hit in the transfer portal over the weekend with two key additions. THE Podcast is back at Roosters on Olentangy River Road and those are two of the topics being discussed by former Ohio State players Bobby Carpenter and Justin Zwick along with Austin Ward, Jeremy Birmingham and Nicole Cox of Roosters.

And there was a lot of great Roosters food, too.

  1. Soooo, one hand you guys say too many OSU Players overrated themselves & their chances at being selected in NFL Draft — then ended show rattling off predominantly a bunch of mediocre by OSU standards players that will be heading to next years Draft⁉️😂

  2. In todays CFB landscape with Portal Free Agency — OSU should NEVER have a HS recruiting class of more than 20-22 players — NEED/MUST leave 5-6 spots at least for TP proven/older College players from other Programs

  3. Whoever told him he was a first-round quarterback in the first place did him a huge disservice. He's lucky he got chosen that early in the second round, because I don't think he was that good either

  4. IMO, badmouthing and lying on someone to get your way in business, in football, or in life is just wrong. People say, it doesn't matter, CJ will make millions… But lies and rumors like those spoken against CJ (and Justin Fields before him) are "sticky". There will be people years from now, still quoting those things as truth, despite them being debunked over and over.

  5. Agree about leaving the draft early. If you’re gonna go and commit to that, it’s ridiculous that you would leave without getting picked the first day. That’s bad leadership

  6. Dawand's big drop was mostly for another reason. Many NFL teams had medical red flags on him. He has had 2 concussions and a stinger in the last few years. I got this info from Dallas Cowboys draft show. They have guys connected to the NFL. The draft show guys asked multiple people within NFL teams. The draft show video is on youtube if you dont believe me.
