  1. 2:25 Now, now, Martin, the word unobtanium/unobtainium is a real word that has been used since at least the late '50s by engineers and scientists. It was never a placeholder in the Avatar script.

  2. I saw it earlier tonight and I enjoyed it. If you’re expecting Butler to be killing people left and right like the Has Fallen trilogy, this isn’t it. Coulter does that well, though. It’s more about saving the passengers. That finale had me gripping the seat…literally.

It’s a fun action movie if you know what you’re getting into.

  3. I want more movies like this. Solid, simple, sometimes clever scripts, mid budgets, practical effects. The kind of 90s action movie you’d have seen Nic Cage or Jon Cusack in

  4. My family flew from Saint Louis, layover in Vegas, then to Hawaii on September 15th, 2001. There were approximately 50-75 passengers onboard flying to Hawaii and at most 50 passengers on the flight back. I was able to stretch across the five mid row seats for a nap while heading back. The beaches were deserted, the only tourist in Hawaii were Australian and Japanese, which was pretty amazing, still speak to a couple families to this day.. We went back two years later, completely different in terms of tourism and the amount of people on the beaches, restaurants, etc. So I can potentially buy the planes low passenger number, but it's kind of suspect lol.
