  1. Hey, lovely people! 🌟 Our sincerest apologies for the slip-up with mispronunciation of the name of the Town of A in the Lofoten Islands. (Our German and French skills didn’t help us here) 🙈✨ Blame it on our overwhelming excitement for the start of our road trip! We hope you can forgive us for this tiny pronunciation hiccup!

  2. Hi both, enjoyed your first leg of the Lofoton islands, even in such inclement weather they are still stunning, and one of the things that impresses me Sean is the easy pace you set so you can safely take in the scenery, to many people flash by and notice very little. Thank you.

  3. Hello! I subscribed a while back but this is the first time I have commented, just to say what amazing videos! Always interesting and informative and a nice balance of (great) camera work, drone footage and music. I really look forward to watching them! I have never been out of the UK on a motorcycle, as I now have a BMW1250RT I am thinking of visiting the Picos de Europa in Spain. Regards Dennis. 😀

  5. The build up area of Å is pronounced O(h) like in the english word town (approx) not A.

The wooden racks are indeed used to dry fish on, north atlantic cod mostly.

No Lofoten does not get very cold compared to inland Norway. Coastal climate versus inland climate – read up on that guys. And the most important thing is the Gulf stream coming from the mexican gulf bringing temperated seawater along the coast – making it relatively temperated compared to similar latitudes.
By all means – it can get minus 10-15 degrees, but inland Norway easily gets minus 30-40 degrees in comparison.

    Have a great trip!

Reagards from a RTW motorbike traveller and originally from Lofoten.😊

  6. Beautiful islands captured by your excellent camera/drone work.
Possibly a stupid question Sean but I’m not a BMW rider: what are the white lined graduation marks just inboard of your left hand grip?….just interested!

  7. Hi Sean and Emily, Im interested in who does the editing, and what cameras do you use as you have extremely good picture quality and sound, which I believe is key in maintaining viewer engagement. I m doing more or less the same Islands next year as I will be moved in Porjus north Sweden, so Norway is close. So far done 4 tours of Norway, I never tire of it , beautiful.Great episode again. I think it would be interesting to hear about how you hooked up and where you where both located as Sean is obviously a bit of a romantic 😂👍🏍🇸🇪
