  1. This was so motivating , I love those lights I have the big one in my dining room I'm looking for the small pendant lights they are kind of expensive right now at home depot I'm waiting for them to get on sale Too bad you can't ship them to me in California I would for sure use them

  2. Good afternoon I don't do any Christmas decorating until after Thanksgiving I believe each holiday needs its own time my kids and grandchildren are all grown so I just send checks and homemade goodies have a wonderful week 😀 💙 😊

  3. I had that happen to me because I have the same bedroom set that you have and I had put mine in the in drawers and somehow they got in behind the drawers my pillowcases because my drawers were pretty full so they slipped in behind the drawers so I don't know where you typically keep yours but it's worth a look

  4. Have you tried looking for the pillow cases in the clean sheets, in your blanket storage, or in a sock drawer 😂 That’s where I usually find mine when I loose them! Yes, Christmas is a lot of work! 🤦‍♀️ Oh, I need to try the Sirloin Tip Roast next week!!! 😋 🍽

  5. I'll be honest with you it's the look in my kids eyes when they see all of the Christmas that goes up now with that said I used to be the same way because it was something that my husband and I shared together was Christmas with our kids but I lost my husband in 2009 two days after Christmas so I really struggle to make Christmas exciting again but I do it because of my son and how it makes him feel to have Christmas and my granddaughter so that gets me motivated is my kids and my granddaughter but it is a struggle for me each year with him not here because Christmas was our favorite holiday together

  6. I have a love/hate for Christmas! I love the true meaning of Christmas and the family time but I hate the stress of hosting and shopping for so many people. But I love your videos! Your house is so cozy!! You have such a beautiful family. Question, where did you get the leopard cardigan you have on in your thumbnail pic? It is sooooo cute!!

  7. My kids are older, well grown, so over the years, the little Christmas spirit I had had dwindled. My youngest was actually born on Christmas, which made it even more stressful because I had to do something for both. I only put up a tree and the bare minimum, but nothing goes up at my house until after Thanksgiving! Skipping over Thanksgiving is a huge pet peeve of mine!

  8. I love the holiday season, but I think it’s because we have established simplicity in our home. We do a tree & some decorations and things, but I have teenagers that really do have a lot. We buy clothes & a pair of shoes. They get to choose 3 items (with a dollar limit attached) & that’s it. I refuse to drive myself crazy running around and doing everything basically leading up to 1 day. It’s much more enjoyable as a parent and not as much pressure. Christmas Eve we tend to make a few cookies and watch a holiday movie. It’s what works for us!

  9. Since we’re talking about Christmas.. what’s your plan with your tree and the kitty?? It breaks my heart but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get one this year lol. Between my 7-8 month old cat and a new 6 week old kitten I brought it that was abandoned.. I don’t know if a tree would survive lol.

  10. Next time when dusting dust your bed before you change your sheets that way no dust is getting in the clean sheets. General rule of thumb dust top to bottom dust pictures before your dresser just a little I thought I’d share

  11. I think that everyone really can make it a point to tell family your not buying for them. Or do name swapping for the whole family. Makes me sad that your excitement is gone for you. 😢 especially with the newest sweet babe you have he’s just now starting to see and understand more of the Christmas wonders. I know it can be a lot but just maybe do what you can. I think we put that stress on ourselves and can be controlled. I love to take the time and decorate, i love getting the stove potpourri cinnamon warming and smelling up the whole house warm. Having the kids all come out and help hang ornaments yearly. Being grateful that my babes are healthy we are healthy home and grateful because you truly never know so many kids are in the hospital year after year struggling to just surging and live. I believe in my whole heart you truly have to go through tough tough moments to be more aware and grateful to be able to have healthy able bodies to celebrate another Christmas. It’s not perfect but I am so excited to share the many traditions that we do as a family. Maybe find a new tradition that maybe your older daughters want to start and maybe that will spark more joy for it. Otherwise i think if it’s all too much don’t do it, don’t decorate don’t buy for everyone draw names etc. make it easier on yourself if you need to.

  12. At first when you were cleaning the freezer I saw your kitty crawl in and didn’t see him come out the other side and I thought he was smushed with the drawer 😂😂😂 then I rewatched and saw him come out the other side before you closed it 😅

  13. When I get new kids pics like 8×10 I keep the older ones in the frame behind the new ones. When there's too many to fit then I place them in the kids memory box. I even do this with our family Christmas card pics. It's nice to look back & see how we've changed.

  14. I love your Christmas music you added it. I like Christmas but it is stressful and its not like it use to be when I was younger and we had everyone still here for the holidays. I have a daughter who is a pre teen so shes not much into the festivities like when she was little but I am pregnant with twins that are due in late spring, so I hope next year some of the magic will return for all of us.

  15. So glad to know im not the only mom who feels this way about Christmas. After 2 kids and money ups and downs I'm just like o geez here we go again. So thanks for sharing that because I thought bad of myself over it.

  16. Sadly the problem with Christmas is its not what it's meant to be. To much nonsense nowadays. It's needs to be 1 simple christmas tree, few presents and family. Not all the decor, presents to out do everyone else.

  17. Love this video! I clean like you and think about germs to! I don’t know if it’s my anxiety or my ADHD. I agree with you on Christmas it always falls on us women and then we go overboard. I have to listen to music when I clean to. I think maybe get storage containers store those pictures I’m like those huge bags to vacuum bags I forgot what they are called and put them in storage containers maybe store under beds or garage or storage building and do like you said give them to children! They will love it! Again thank you so much for inspiration to clean and all your ideas. Have a great weekend

  18. I hate Christmas. I’m newly married, no plans for children and both sides of our family has Christmas “dinner” at the same time on Christmas Day. So what do you do? We either run around to houses, missing some food/people or split up and he sees his family and I see mine. It’s so stressful and I hate to say it but not very fun. We both always feel guilty for not seeing the others’ family and the families are always saying where’s the other. I hate it but don’t know what to do. Any advice would be great. 😁

  19. My hubby just bought some of the laundry detergent from Buff City Soap and I see you have some. I feel like it’s not cost effective but it does smell goooood lol

  20. I love Christmas. We are decorated already. But I say if decorating stresses you out, then don’t! It’s ok to just put up a tree! Take the pressure away to do what everyone else does. We don’t do a lot of gifts for the rest of the fam because we just can’t afford to. Something small and simple, and the rest is for the kids. 😁

  21. Hi Jessica,if you haven't seen her do it already, just empty cardboard boxes, most cats love those. Also if you don't have it yet get her a pole or something wrapped in sisal. They like to scratch on that.
