Re batteries that people are thinking of using in a home power system there are some very good marine gel-pack deep-cycle batteries that should work very well. Their cold cranking amps are insane. These are some very powerful batteries. And extremely robust because they're designed for a marine environment. People could also go the other route and get some actual lift truck batteries. They get expensive. So does putting in a solar power system. If it's DIY then solar cells. Then some kind of a voltage regulator going to the batteries. The battery bank itself. A good inverter or two. Or three. And then an automatic switch for when/if grid power goes down.

Crossbows and training to use blades is what I would suggest for defense in the UK. If you take out an enemy that has a firearm then take it and take any magazines and ammo they have for it , looting dead enemies is always a must…..you could find useful gear on them as well as possible useful information. Watch videos on how to change the magazines and how to aim and shoot properly if you have no experience. That's the best I can offer for advice to anyone in a country who doesn't have firearms available like we do in the US and who doesn't have experience with guns. If you get a crossbow get plenty of bolts for it and practice as much as humanly possible so that you can get good at shooting it and aiming. Get some wax for your string so it doesn't dry out and break on you too quickly and get some extra strings for it as well.

Why are you assuming the water tested from a Berkey wasn’t already purified to begin with? Unless we know what chemicals and bacteria was in the water to begin with … we can see it actually filtered it out … if you put water in a filter that don’t have chemicals and bacteria … then the test results 100% won’t show them because they weren’t there to begin with !
People will just be happy when the governments "find a peaceful solution"to end the war, this is a War of profit and control, not to control one country or the other, but to control ALL countries, sad people are really being killed for this but they have to make it look legit, this is a War of, "You Will Own Nothing and You Will Be Happy." I don’t know why people are saying that Pinball lost any transmission on his Saturday lifestream. I have an alarm that goes off one minute before he is supposed to start and it went off and I brought him up both on my phone and my desktop and there was no break and sound or video.

Hitler did not remove gun rights from the German People. That is a Myth. It is just as easy to get it right AP, so do your research. He deregulated firearms and ammo in 1938. The Gun Registration was from the Weimar Republic long before Hitler came to power.

I would like to suggest that the USA government has Already killed some of its citizens. During the 1960's I was a child, but I remember the National Guard firing upon the American public on more than one occassion and killing a few people. The iconic example is the National Guard intentionally killing (I think 4) students on the grounds of Kent State University which I think is in Ohio.
The students were walking on the sidewalk on their own campus while carrying signs to end the war in Vietnam. They were UNARMED. They were completely QUIET & CALM. They were not shouting, they were not doing anything but walking on their own campus.
I remember the shock on a young girl's face as she bent over a friend lying dead on the sidewalk shot by the National Guard. There is a journalist's photo of this. I will NEVER forget this. I was a very little girl at the time.
