The leveling up is a point that you earn and spend on. You can see how many skill point you have.
You have X points of training for cats and Y for staff at the end of your shift.
You can assing some of X poits to one cat and some to another or all to the same cat, the higher the level the more points it needs to level up.
Same with the staff (your character counts as a staff also)

Jazzy, about the levelling up thing. If you take a look at the left up corner, there are two kinds of ⭐. One of them you use to level up the cats and the other to level up the people. You win those starts during the day. It's a general thing. If you take a look at the cats/employees tab, you'll see that each one has an amount of starts they need to level up (and it raises from time to time)
So, for example: if you have 4 cat stars, BrianJ need 2 to level up and Debrah needs 3, you can either level up BrianJ 2 times or Debrah once.

So if you wanna change your doors position go to build, trashcan, and the click where the door is.
For lvling up cats/ people it's a choose whoever you want to lvl up. So while originally all the cats may say they lvl up, and you lvl up Kevin, all the other cats won't be able to lvl up.
That knocking sound is the chopping board.
Love this series, I picked it up on the switch and rn I have built a cat room, a kitchen, a fancy dinning room, a bathroom, and a cozy all around dinning room. I'm very excited to see how your cat cafe turns out 😁
Am glad the hearts carry over for the cat shrine, so nothing is truly missed. I do wonder how the cat adoption works. Feels so sad to let go of a cat! and even tho we get hearts I do wonder how that affects the player needing to get a new cat that needs leveling up to replace the previous one in comfort-stats.

I think you need a Finnegan cat, a Loki, and a Sif.
If you you want to look outside go to the delete tool in construction and just go around the building clicking delete till you delete q window or a door once you've done that go to decorations and click door or window anyways hope that helps and I am loving the series 🌟
