  1. Aang is stronger because aang learned all the elements faster then all other avatars and he beat Pheonix king and plus in prime he was powerful he was the 1st avatar to metal bend because toph would had thought him so he is stronger then kyoshi and the creator of the show said it was aang who was the strongest

  2. I disagree with this list.
    8. Seto (Not much known)
    7. Yangchen (Fulfilled earthly duties)
    6. Kuruk (Fulfilled spiritual duties)
    5. Yan (Gave his life 1st)
    4. Korra (Has anger issues but had opportunity to end battles quickly. Allowed things to go on for longer than necessary. Abuse of power)
    3. Roku (Top Tier, Great Wisdom, Attempted to justify his own failures after his life)
    2. Aang (Mastered elements in a few months, ended war peacefully, Energy bending, love and family at same time)
    1. Kyoshi (Used her pain as motivation, split a landmass (c'mon), no shame)

  3. Respectfully technically speaking Korra would probably be the most powerful. While Kyoshi specifically can separate land through the use of the avatar state the most current avatar has access to all their previous abilities and knowledges. Thus the most current avatar will always be the most powerful. However, we can all agree Kyoshi is the most badass

  4. I think Aang may be more powerful for being able to keep his moral code and to save the world at the same time. Even the Airbender he talked to before fighting Ozai gave up the Airbender code to be the avatar. It takes great willpower and strength to be able to do that.

  5. Probably an unpopular opinion but whatever. I personally HATE Korra. She ruined the link between all past Avatars and she was actually pretty weak and a whiney cocky child who made endless stupid mistakes. I was happy when she was getting her ass handed to her by Kuvira.

  6. Does nobody count Aang's Northern Water Tribe feat as spirit bending? He did essentially the same thing as Korra except that he had help. I'd say that Korra did it better being able to pull it off with her spirit alone, but she did not do it first

  7. Kora should not be on this list. She did some firsts for an avatar, but in my opinion, that does not mean powerful. She basically had to enter the avatar state everything she fought the main villain of every season, and she slapped like a wet noodle in the avatar state. While I loved some of the world building in LOK, I think its the worst thing they could have done for the series. The Avatar state was overused, under played, and the spirit world should have stayed separate because humans and spirts as a whole are just not compatible and meant to co-exist. There is a reason humans lived on the backs of the lion turtles. Humans and spirits are just too fundamentally different to co-exist. I mean, even the air nomads had to live on the backs of the spirit turtles, and they are the most spiritual of all the people. LOK is the worst thing to happen to Avatar as a whole in my opinion.
