  1. Watching these makes me feel better. I’m in my mid 30s and have had a host of medical issues stop my forward movement more than once. The most recent requiring a flight for life and needing resuscitation twice which I guess means I died twice clinically/almost died/close enough.

Despite all that and student loans that are in IDR repayment plans at a near 0 interest rate with a max of 10% of my income max, possibly less depending on what gets done regarding student loans. I’ve taken your advice before learning of it and I’m not paying on that.

I have $0 credit card debt, 710 credit score and growing, and am going to implement your/my grandfather’s truck of using a credit card not to live outside my means and pay a minimum and thus a stupid amount of interest but to use to build credit by using it like I would a debit card and paying the full balance monthly.

That’s technically also a smarter move security wise because in the event your info is stolen, then it’s the credit card company’s money and not mine that’s been compromised. Which isn’t an if but a when. There’s much better consumer protection for credit card fraud than debit card fraud for whatever reason. If I had to guess it’s the reason stated above – it’s their money. If it’s just a debit, they process the fees and could care less who spends the money out of your account so long as it clears…. Oh capitalism.

I invest lightly in indexes and bitcoin and have made modest gains. I have a growing emergency fund alongside it. I know you say don’t invest until you have an emergency fund but dude me I’m doing a hybrid of your advice

I can always sell my bitcoin and index positions if I really have to although I don’t have pressing debt like that 27 year old mystic with the cowboy hat and vision board… 🤦‍♂️

I live in a $900 a month place with all utilities paid. All my medical bills are paid through insurance and hard work, student loan debt is hanging over my head but managed, income exceeds bills by 150%. How am I doing?

  2. Caleb you should do a video on the anatomy of a credit card statement: the grace period, carrying a balance, and why that's so harmful. Every episode when people make balance payments but also make transactions you get rightfully mad, but it'd be awesome if you explained WHY and the type of positive behavior that makes a credit card person a credit card person.

  3. How come Americans think 100.000 miles on a vehicle is a lot!? In Europe, 100k miles is the average amount of miles on a second hand car. And the majority of us are buying second hand cars. On average, a decent car would last you 200.000 – 240.000 miles. Why buy it new!?

  4. Your character in yhis has gotten really douchey and hypocritical and this content is insanely easy and formulaic and I hope your channel dies out and you end up on a channel like thus where someone berates you for buying anything except rice

  6. Do people who face Caleb realize what he's going to say? I mean, it's usually very predictable: start eating at home and making your own coffee, don't make unnecessary purchases, pay off your debt asap, invest aggressively, get a better job, and buy property. (And start seeing a therapist.) Is there really anything more to it??

  7. Caleb! Let me know if you would be willing to do a financial audit on someone who is actually still active duty military! I see a bunch of vets on here but no one who is in an active status. 😊

  8. I don't know why but it bothers me every time he says give yourself a score "Zero out of 10" 🤣 Like he's already decided! Give yourself a score Zero TO 10 would sound better.

  9. What should be on everyone’s mind currently should be to invest in sectors with guaranteed projected growth, pretty much how I made my first million. I’ve been getting assisted by a financial coach for a year now, his name is Klaus Cassius, you can google him. He places a sizable portion of my capital in fixed-income securities like treasury bills, corporate bonds, government securities, and debentures. He also manages over seventy million dollars for clients worldwide in ETFs, stocks and REITs.

  11. He needs to get a VA lawyer to file for hire disability. And before you all say that lawyer costs money, VA lawyers don't take money up front they're going to get a percentage of what you win later on and if they find him at a higher disability percentage he'll get a lump sum for all the back pay he should have received.
