  7. I’d argue the island sequence of Triangle of Sadness is the best portion of the film as it shows how power works fundamentally. It’s excellent. The most comrade part of the film.

  10. Agreed on a Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The filmmaking was great but the film itself is mid. Reminds me of last years “Licorice Pizza” excellently made but a nothing burger film. I actually got more from Hollywood than that one.

  12. Gavin watch “Lords of Chaos” to get the black Norwegian metal history and it’s very subversive and based on a real story that Zac was talking about. It’s very entertaining and you don’t have to like the music to dig the movie but I guess may help with the enjoyment part lol.

    It's not only the fact that she can quote the Bible, the Talmud, the Dalai Lama, Martin Luther king, and Nelson Mandela, and tie it all together, and apply it to public policy. It's not only the fact that she knows the history of America at a federal level, she also knows the history state by state, it's that there are no cue cards or prompters! This is all in her head! She remembers it, and can rattle it all off at a moment's notice, because she lives and breathes it. She understands what connects to what, and why it's relevant.
