  5. The Bamford chance was missed primarily because he tried to play it with the wrong foot. I appreciate that we all have our preferred foot but I always find it absolutely incredible that a professional footballer who literally has no other work to do in life is incapable of working on his technique to the point whereby he's at least competent enough with his weaker foot to use it when necessary. It called for a right footed side foot pass into the keeper's bottom right corner.
    The Coventry game is the most difficult we have left (on paper).Southampton will be cruising in the final game of the season now, keen to avoid injuries and conserve energy for the play offs, as they are out of the race for automatic after yesterday. If Gruev is close to fitness, I'd be all for risking him on Saturday. Even if doing so ends up meaning he misses the final 5 games, I think we can get through them without him if we really have to. But I don't think we'll win at Coventry without him on Saturday…

  7. 3 words for our performance in that game .. poor, poor and poor. Hull the better side. We set up wrong. Defence ok, Midfield not right, Striker on strike. His occasional goal doesnt make up for the chances wasted. Our system needs a good CF. It aint PB. And Farke is not proactive, but he isnt even reactive. Appalling first half yet first sub at 70 minutes. His lack of game management skill will cost us

  9. Didn't Farke say after the game that he was quite happy to let Hull have plenty of possession because they (Hull) were most dangerous when on the break? By allowing Hull to have the ball a lot there would be few opportunities to counterattack/break.

We played awful but I'm not surprised 3 games in 6 days due to most players playing for the internationals and only maybe the leeds squad has had 2 days of training and most of our players are not fit so I'm not worried ATM but we got 4 days preparation so hopefully will play much better on the weekend

  12. We weren't great and they had a LOT of possession. That said, we missed two sitters and they didn't threaten Meslier much. Lets hope Gruev is fit for the weekend, as our midfield looked lightweight.

  13. Bamford hasn't been in form, people's subjectivities mask his abysmal forward play.You saw when Joseph replaced him, the movements were a lot more fluid, he occupied Coyle whereas Bamford had not affected their defence at all, he doesn't cause problems for any of them because he's average.

  14. Well that was yet another shoddy lethargic performance. Said it before that any side that presses we struggle and have done all season. Exactly what happened over Xmas. We were lucky yes but it’s scary as we should be putting a lot of teams away and yet again Bamford missed a sitter and just like Leicester last season nobody else in our squad would not have missed. Bamford was not good yet again and FARKE should have made changes. Piroe, Joseph or Gelhardt were sitting on the bench and any of them should be starting. I think Piroe will leave in the summer because he isn’t playing and never gets to play his No9 position
