We did a special ONE more show on November 6, 2022. On November 6th CSN327 was the last ever passenger service operated by an a380 for China Southern. The end of an era for China Southern was captured during LA Flightsβs night time Bonus One More Show. Watch the full broadcast here: https://youtube.com/live/33XTBzj2OGY

I don't remember watching this live but it awesome to watch
First and last time I see a China Airlines A380 at LAX.
Unbelievable that CS are withdrawing the 380 from service when other carriers are reintroducing them back into service (Lufthansa, British Airways, Singapore and Etihad)
I remember this night. I'm not gonna lie but I literally had a tear in my eye when I saw that big boy backing up for the last time and the way the lights of LAX were shining off of that plane added to the moment.π₯²π’βοΈπ« Thanks Peter & Josh for being there to cover it for us!π
Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, ANA, Emirates, Korean air, Asiana Airlines, Qantas , Etihad and British Airways are all still flying it or bringing it back. Surprising to see that China Southern is backing out. there must be more than enough passengers in China to be able to use it domestically atleast
I flew a China Southern A380 from LAX to Guangzhou once.
This was something special, because it was the first and only a380 I have ever flown on! Night time plane spotting is always my favorite! Hoping you guys are able to do it again soon!
I had no idea that the china a380 landed in lax
I feel so sad seeing this marvel of aviation leave LA for the last time, it was the first A380 I saw when I joined the L.A Flights channel
Grat shot of that last A380.
So beautiful but so sad…
They were fun to have around but it is sad to see them go oh well thank you China Southern
Wasnt that a couple of months ago?
π
I didnβt think they were going live until Saturday
Get Emerits to have them.shame to see them goπ₯
Thank you for sharing. Thank you for your service China Southern A380 βοΈ βοΈ
Capture every moment of these cherished behemoths, for future generations to ponder their glory.
Oh Peter, Josh: So Sad to miss! I thought ya'll were going Live Sat but Thanks a Bunch for going Live and the Playback! Blessings and Happy St Patty's Dayππππ deb in Pouringπ§RainβοΈ in SCππ
10 surprise minutes of LA Flights?! It's a St Patrick's Day miracle!
That was a night to cherish forever and indeed it was a sad moment for all of us. The way that beautiful beast disappeared into the clouds that night had me in tears. The Mighty Flying Whale from China Southern Airlines will definitely be missed. Thank u Peter and Josh for capturing that special moment. ππΎπππΎ
I flew on that 380 in 2015 to Guangzhou via Philippines π’
Never was a fan of the A380 but their service life was unfortunately short.
I love the 747 and a380 and I live in Nashville where our international airport is more of a regional airport. I do hope that the a380 and maybe just maybe the 747 come to Nashville but itβs sad to see them go
WOW! Sad to see any aircraft come to an End, especially this Super massive one-of-a-kind aircraft. End of an Era.
A380 is being retired, so the airline can replace it with the twin engine jets for fuel efficiency also manufacture had to terminate production end 2021 they may come back to service at a later time but as of now they will parked π¬ π
Thatβs sad π’
WOW!!!!, beautiful! They were kinda like kids in Hollywood/Disneyland when they used to travel pre-pandemic, very friendly folks
Airbus really screwed up by not making the A380 also a freighter or at least convertible to a freighter.
its really sad because the CSN A380 is the only A380 ive ever been on. glad i got to ride on it twice
I checked flightaware with the tail number B-6139, and this aircraft flew from CAN TO VCV on 21DEc2022, then shortly later flew to MHV 21 minute flight..Mojave is a moth ball place. It's not a scrap yard. Maybe we will see this aircraft again.

The airlines will regret retiring these jumbos once air travel demand rebounds and the numbers are already showing recovery is underway.
F amazing airship,I flew on this airship Chicago to japan
I wish those trees could be cut down for a better view.
We feel Josh's emotions when he says "lining up at rwny 25L for the very last time" . I am super happy to have attented to this special moment on live. THANKS A LOT LA Flights
Amazing footage …love it!
It'll be back to the Southland when they deliver it back to Victorville for its next assignment
Why didn't they sell the planes to another airline instead of retiring them??
so sad
ππ
So many A380s retiring it's pretty sad but I guess it was to be expected.
Such a waste.
What is the reason for retiring the A380's?
Love the 380 Thank you for posting this.
Won't they just transfer then to cargo carriers?
π
Just discovered out this channel today and loving the commentary you guys did especially the JetBlue and Emirates A380 shortsπ I thought I was watching f1 for a second there, love it! β€
I doubt there will be destroying the planes, I am sure the middle east airliners will buy them like Emirates, Qatar, Etihad etc.
