Life IS the Monolith. The proof that something with the intelligence of God was here engineering something so complex and beautiful it's beyond being a subset of the elements. Think of what the monolith did. It appeared, disappeared and caused thinking, fear and wonderment. This led not only a starving band of early primates to food and survival superiority by using tools, but resulted in us and space travel. We have gone from throwing a club made of a femur bone up into the air, to throwing the sace station into the air in a much richer, complex way for a much richer reason, but still the same act. Our tools and hacking the laws of physics by understanding them has led to us. Star dust thinking about being star stuff. Earth is VERY RARE. People don't consider how RARE Earth really is! look for the "rare Earth hypothesis" to find out what I mean. I thought like that for years before I found out others, like extremely intelligent people, scientists, had come up with it!

Yes it's teeming with an overabundance of life it has to be, no other answer is realistic, God did not create the entirety of this universe and probably many others for it to be empty apart from on this small planet called Earth
