  1. There really should be no debate it should be Jaren Halls job until the end of the season !!!! Nick Mullens is not a NFl QB and Josh Dobbs is a career backup who's had his chance …the only one who hasn't had a fair chance is Jaren Hall

  2. Luke Braun said Jaren Hall had so many turnovers at BYU it would make you want to quit Mormonism!! Hall threw for 52 touchdowns in three years at BYU with only 11 interceptions and one fumble. Luke Braun is an effin' idiot!!

  3. My take is this. In the last 2 years, I believe only the GB game was more than 1 score. Most of that time, the Vikings lucked out on the winning side. In the Bears game, although there were some missteps, and you can decide if it was all on Dobbs, or if the receivers tipping balls in the air, and a ferocious Bears defense contributed to the outcome. It never felt the Vikings were out of it and they were in control of their own destiny until KOC decided to go 2 run plays up the middle, and a limp screen to keep time on the clock and not get a first down. That is equivalent to a check-down on 4th and 8. You have the best scrambler in the game and KOC did not take advantage of that. You know the Bears defense was playing against the anticipated run to keep the clock moving. I believe Dobbs only ran the ball twice the entire game. The rest of the game he was running away from Bears defenders because the O-line forgot their job is to block. Sorry, no disrespect Booney!

It is the sole responsibility of the HC to put the team in the best position to win a game. If you are going for it on 4th and 7, then you most definitely want to run some quick hitches to advance the ball with 2 minutes left on the clock. I would have liked to have seen Dobbs roll-out and the defender leave the receiver to stop Dobbs, leaving Hock free 5-10 yards in front of the play.

NOW it seems, KOC called the worst game of his career and everyone is ready to throw the guy under the bus who has only been on the team for 3 weeks. Meanwhile, the other QBs on the team have been there since training camp 6 months ago, and they all suck!!! or they would be playing and the Vikings would have never traded for Dobbs. Dobbs' only problem is consistency. He has never been given the time to develop and find the rhythm with a team. He beat Dallas!!! That is saying a lot since he was on the worst team in the NFL.

To throw it all away now would be a waste and a disservice not only to the QB, but also to all the fans who have not been this excited since Keenan and Favre. KOC needs to get away from his love affair with Cousins and Mattison. Mattison cost the Vikings 2 games this year, all by himself, BUT he is still the starter. If it were up to me, I would bench Mattison to work on his technique before allowing him back on the field again. If the Vikings had a running game, Dobbs would have never been in the pressure situation to begin with. But, not only are the Vikings starting Mattison, they are retarding the development of Chandler, and handcuffing the QB to be like Kirk2.0.

The common denominator to all these little problems added together is "KOC". I think the Vikings would be better to have a mature HC like Flores, and hire a great Offensive coordinator. AND why isn't the OC calling the plays, since it is his only duty in life to work with the offense. KOC is too young, too inexperienced, and a failed backup QB. He should have a little more empathy with Dobbs' situation and how to make him a better player. STOP making Dobbs the scapegoat for a team that was not expected to win more than 9 games with Cousins as starter.
KOC needs to own up and take the Loss.

  4. If they start anyone but Josh Dobbs, I hope they throw 15 picks. And fire KOC fairy azz.
You guys are also forgetting the race factor. Flores is a POC, JJ is a POC. Josh is a POC.
Do you think any of those guys are rooting for the milk toast lame backups?
Josh has 12 games as a starter. 3 weeks on the team, yet he still has more potential than Hall or Mullins.

  5. this is a blame for the entire offense…the online protection (run blocking and pass) was sh/t…the run was mediocre with a few nice runs…receivers dropped passes and passes that with in and out of their hands and turned into INTs…and the mind boggling play calling, especially the last possession that was the result of a fumble recovery…a first down wouldve basically won the game…sorry boys, the big picture is the entire offense played poorly…and please dont act like dobbs was on the team for years LOL and i noticed that dobbs plays better when he is allowed to run and freelance…no designed run plays…really? and it seemed like he was forced to stay in the pocket…didnt look like dobb was the QB of the first 3 games. what happened to "we play to the strenght of the players"? even when he tried running away from the defender, it seemed like he didnt even want to run, as if he was told not to. a mobile QB that runs usually has the urgency to run for yards…that wasnt the case against the bears.

  6. Let's be real… We will probably not win a playoff game with either of them… if we make the playoffs.
And we're certainly not going to the Super Bowl this season.
For me, I don't want the Vikings to draft 20th.
So, for that reason, I think we should go with Jaen Hall. At least we will discover something.
If he sucks, we'll have a better draft spot in April. If he is good, well… great!
    SKOL !

  7. KOC went away from Dobbs's strengths and made him Kirk Cousins. KOC doesn't have the killer mentality and Hall when has tape will be exposed. Step it up Luke Hall isn't the answer either.
