  1. I forgot how my PC reacted to the game but I think it was okay and I loved it. This might be finally "my" monster taming game.
I still have to try Nexomon at some point, but I feel like i shouldn't expect to much with that one.

  2. The demo was very good. The sticker system seems it will add considerable depth to combat. You can freely move attacks and passives between monsters which is huge. During the demo I took that one passive sticker that gave you a chance to use the next move in your monster's list for free and put it before "sharpen" freeing me up to attack first turn instead of needing to buff. Pretty neat. I really want to see what other passive abilities there are in the game because I bet there are some crazy combos you can set up with passives that trigger based on certain conditions.

The elemental advantage/disadvantage chart in this game is crazy. There are some weird types of monsters in this game ("plastic" is a type in this game, no joke) and using some elements against others produce buffs or debuffs instead of being a damage multiplier.

  3. I really love the demo. The evolved all the monsters I was able to catch with the 5 tapes I was given. Once you reach 5 stars on a monster, you can evolve it at a fire camp after resting

  4. What other monster taming games would you recommend that are the most similar in terms of game feel and/or aesthetics and/or exploration/combat while we wait for the full release? The demo was so good I can't wait until then. I know Cassette Beasts is kind of its own beast (ha!), but surely there must be something _close enough_. I've only played most Pokemon/Digimon games and Monster Sanctuary so far.

  5. I wonder if there's connections between Cassette Beasts and the developer's previous game, Lenna's Inception. The big baddies in both are archangels, and they've got the "glitchiness" going on in both games, IIRC.
