  1. Being Memorial day,the unsung heroes are being celebrated. Who is your unsung hero for the Cowboys? I think it's either Darren Woodson or Erik Williams. We certainly know all about them as fans…but other people around the league don't talk about them much if at all. They could arguably be the best ever at the positions they played, and don't get league wide love. In a fantasy all time roster selection…I would take Woodson over Ronnie Lott 100 times out of 100 personally. And Erik is definitely in the conversation as the best RT ever.. and the nature of the RT position, it's a short list. There's only a handful of great ones, and Erik was great

  3. Same ol Cowboys. They really have been the same this off season. Yes, they traded for Gilmore, Cooks, but ONLY cause Colts, Texans gave them away. Big name guys, money guys they have stayed away. Did not even sniff at McManus.

  4. Honestly, adding Hopkins makes no sense for Dallas. They have 3 good receivers and 3 ball-catching tight ends and backs. What they don't have is an accurate quarterback that can see the field and make the throws necessary to keep all the talent they have happy. Dak did just lead the NFL in interceptions while missing a lot of games and is the biggest salary cap draw the Cowboys have. Perhaps the new offense helps him with that. But with Dak's diminishing quality of play, I can see why the Cowboys want to focus on running the ball better.

  5. I think the league should set minimum and maximum contracts for each position league wide. This can be reviewed yearly to stay current. With salary cap restrictions this would keep one position from being too greedy.

  6. I absolutely and positively agree that the Cowboys made the right decision to address the defensive tackle position as what we currently have is not getting it done except maybe for Hankins. However the Cowboys could have addressed the offensive guard position and choose not to do it. They had quality choices but again choose not to make them. Now they are still trying to figure it out.

  7. Singing Hopkins is a SB move, Dallas dont make those moves because they are always happy ' with our guys' ….. thus not winning shit just like the last 30 years

  8. Starting O-line, at least early on, Tyler Smith LT, Farniok or the FA guard they signed, or maybe even Bass, but doubtful on him, center Biadesz, Martin LG, and Tyron Smith RG. Steele or Richards, if Steele is not 100%, swing tackle. I don't think Steele will be back to form until 2024. Yes he can play before then, but how good will he be after his ACL tear and MCL tear?? Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if he is on IR to start the season. I know a lot of people would like to see Tyler Smith at LG, but I believe that leaving at LT the best move, especially with Steele coming back from major injury and Tyron not able to stay on the field for injuries since 2015 the last season that he played every game. When Tyron goes down for a few games then RT would be all that is affected. If Tyron was LT and goes down, then Tyler would move to LT and you would have to bring in LG which two positions would be affected. Steele will not be ready at the beginning of the season to handle RT for 17+ games. So smart move is keep Smith's at the position they finished in last year. Not sure who would be the best LG out of remaining group, but Tyler should be at LT not LG.

  9. One day the o line will be complete and solid with starters and capable backups at each position, no more musical chairs. Every year its something with the o line. One injury and its start from scratch!

  10. They are thinking saving tyron for playoffs. Look at all the unnecessary subs they made mid game last year with peters and McGovern and constantly see pollard or zeke burst up the left and we all scratched our heads with why isnt peters playing more. Like they were saving him too
