It means michael becomes clever now as buying used means you dont have to pay tax on car and afterall car is that type of property that suffer depreciation. So why waste extra money on depreciation type things.

Hoovies garage had the same experience with the McLaren, transmission went out twice at at low miles at $25k each, an undrivable car.
That car could feed the entire Skid Row in LA for a week.
