BAR is an incredibly impressive project and is an example of all the best parts of open source software. It's got QOL features to a level I've never seen in a game before.
Scaling eco is important but as an rts bar is relatively unforgiving, just a half dozen t1 scrub units can clean up an undefended economy shockingly fast

This looks awesome. The problem with a lot of these new RTS's is that they're lacking innovation. People don't want a new StarCraft, they want something like StarCraft but better. Kinda like how FPS's evolved from Arena shooters to Halo/CoD and then Battle Royales.
I wonder how many ticks killed so far within all games played on BAR

I knew (of) the game before you started playing it, but give up early as it was a bit overwhelming and I didn't want to put in the time to learn about it. I was already playing supreme commander and it took me a long time to get to some minimum level op competency at that. But because I followed your learning process in BAR streams and vods, I got motivated again and learned with you, and now it is still the game I put most time in each week and having a lot of fun.
So thx for that.

BAR is not even in the same league as SC2. If anything, I'd drop SC2 content after 13 years and move on to BAR content. Less streamer competition, superior gameplay, having more fun with it yourself, just switch bro
