Hey, cool cat! Today we’re learning about accents, a type of music articulation. We’re also doing a mini parent teacher conference about future goals lol ❤️ 🐈⬛ Have a mentally healthy rest of your day and keep practicing y’all!
🎵 Story Behind The Video
My dad and I are getting the kitchen redone! so that means the piano is in my room for now lol. Articulations are super fun and they are my favorite attributes to add to compositions and songs! I hope I can share that joy with you too!
🎵 About The Video Series
I’m so glad you’re watching this video series cool cat! 🐈⬛ 🎵 ❤️ Understanding articulations are essential for creating music that conveys specific emotions. This allows us to communicate clear emotions to others through music, connecting us deeper to our friends, family, and loved ones!
🎵 Student Notes
Hey there Piano Cool Cat 🐈⬛! Today’s topic is the “Accent” articulation 🎵. Accents allow us to play notes with more power and clarity. Some people confuse accents with “louder”. But the truth is that we can have soft almost silent accents too! Accents are all about the intensity that you play the note.
Fun Fact for advanced students: Sometimes in music, articulations are more about feeling and how you physically express the notes, then what the note actually sounds like. In this case, it’s all about what dynamic the articulation is in.
I hope this video inspires you to continue learning music & improving your mental health! Thank you for making music a part of your mental health journey! I hope you have a mentally healthy rest of your day ❤️ 🎵
