Dustborn DESTROYED by critics. Nothing can save this WOKE FAILURE

The review embargo for Dustborn has just been lifted, and the reviews are coming in… and things aren’t looking good for what has been dubbed the wokest game ever made. This thing is absolutely SCREWED when it releases next week.

  1. It took me a while to notice the dev studio's name, but it all makes sense now. Red Thread Games came onto the scene originally to make the much anticipated followup to Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Dreamfall Chapters was all right, I actually threw in for its crowdfunding campaign and was kind of stoked for it, but I never did finish playing the game after its final release. One thing was for sure though, it absolutely reeked of progressivism. The bar was set a lot higher back then, of course, so by comparison to Dustborn, Dreamfall Chapters was downright tame in its messaging.

I respect that they're working with their own original IP. But neither Red Thread nor Quantic Dream should be surprised when player numbers are more or less commensurate with the size of their target audience. This is exactly what they wished for.

  2. These developers who create these woke games for "modern audiences" don't realize that the people they are trying to appeal to spend ALL DAY on their phones, on social media, watching their same "comfort show" on repeat, or just rotting. They dont consume the media they're trying to push

  4. Im glad this game exists because it exposes wokeness in its true, sad, and pathetic form. Usually, we see wokeness infecting beloved IPs and turning them into Trojan horses for "The Message." However, Dustborn allows us to see the disease in the light, not hidden behind the characters and stories we cherish.

  5. The thing these studios don't realize is that even gaming channels that are typically good at taking "Really bad games" and making comedic content out of it… Couldn't even play this kind of thing and retain their audience. They know that they'd basically be wasting their time, effort, and energy to do so for now payoff, with this risk of losing subscribers and viewers..

If there was such thing as a modern audience, it would carry over into streaming and video channels. Which it never does.

This is honestly one of the most abysmal looking games I've ever seen. The top 2 ugliest I've seen for sure. Next to fable 4's protagonist. I'm not sure which game looks uglier tbh…

I never used to understand the "I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole" phrase until they started making these woke garbage games like this..

  6. In order for woke people to understand our complaints we all need to chip in and produce a remake of ''Wonder Woman'' but with Connor McGregor as Vivian Ward. Then remake ''Broke Back Mountain'' but make it about two straight cowgirls who are looking for strong manly husbands. Why not, let's top it off with remake of ''BROS'' but it's about 4 guys who are about te get married but their bachelor party in Las Vegas goes wrong when one of them spikes their drinks… oh wait, did i just reinvent Hungover?
Anyway you get thegist! Let's see how they like it.

  7. I don’t get what the problem is. We always tell them to stop fucking with our games and movies and go make their own. So they went and made their own. So why don’t we lay off of them?
