  1. The classic book "The mind of the South" 1941, talked about how the poorest Southern whites felt special and equal to and unified with the richest as they were all supposedly superior to blacks. The Trump team seem to have exploited the same sentiment just this time it's Americans who are superior to everyone else, especially illegal immigrants. Pretty crafty move.

  2. Bill nails it, as so often. I heard there were a lot of people feeling Harris should not concede, but regardless of the awful events in the previous election, it doesn't really make sense as a strategy when Trump was already on course for a thumping victory claiming all 7 swing states!

  3. It's a shame to see Reps. praisin Maher because Maher says different opposite things everyday, if you watch his podcast or pay some atention. He wants to please everyone, or is too fake, or I don't know, but true.-

  4. At least Bill's not a sore loser. But yep, the D's need to look in the mirror and realize that America isn't as much in your pocket as you thought. There are still a lot of sane people out here who don't want DEI, LGBTQ+ agenda, open borders, high inflation caused by bad fiscal policy, etc. What we want is a stable economy that grows consistently because Govt interferes with it the minimum amount possible to ensure public safety, sound money that doesn't fly off the printing press causing inflation, education that teaches fundamentals like Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic instead of how many genders you can invent, and respect for the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

You know, basic stuff that everyone in America thought was good 20 years ago.

  5. Genuinely asking, as a European:

I am not a Trump supporter, but I understand that he is a conservative and all the things that goes with, and I get that some people find this interesting.

But how do you excuse the fact the he pushed and will push again to allow some states not only to make abortion illegal, even in case of r*pe or incest, but even make it punishable by jail for life ?

I mean that’s fucked up, how can conservatives caution this???

  6. I voted for Trump and I enjoyed that. Thanks Bill for keeping it funny and classy, and just being an adult about Democrats losing the election. I laughed at the grabbing white women joke, that was a “hey-ooooh” 😆😆😆

  7. Yeah you can try to laugh it off dude. WRONG again as always. Credibility shot to hell. No guts to own it or pay up on his guarantee. What a LOSER this guy is. Wrong every time. trying to be a magic 8 ball. And now the winner is someone he has to look in the face for the next 4 years. So much for being so smart. What a dummy. This is what happens when you pretend to be smarter than you really are. You look like a fool to the world.

  8. He continues to make MILLIONS no matter who wins. He's happy that he gets easy jokes the next 4 years. I've watched him for decades. I'm done with that now. Unsubbing from everything he spews because he's wrong. dead wrong. He has NO CLUE what America thinks. He lives in his elite rich Hollywood bubble and it shows. He's not a person I want to think about anymore. Make no mistake, he's a boomer too. And boomer's ruin everything. It's their nature.

  9. So is he just not gonna acknowledge his condescending tone towards the American public “he’s not gonna win hahahaha”. Well looks who’s wrong once again, rich out of touch elites. You will never win another election again without cheating as long as you refuse to acknowledge reality.

  10. Maher is the only late night host that get it – or at least the only one who'll admit that he gets it.
Simple fact is that the Democrats lost, and lost big, because they ignored the basic things that most voters care about – jobs, the economy, education, health care, crime – and instead focused on identity politics and luxury beliefs. They abandoned their traditional voter base of the non-college educated working class back in the Clinton era and have never tried to hide the contempt they have for the poor and uneducated, who have flocked to Trump.
Last time around, the other late night hosts spent four years mocking and deriding not just Trump, but the people that voted for him, and they'll probably spend the next four years doing exactly the same. Some people never learn. Some people try to claim that the US doesn't have a class system. It does. The wealth gap is the widest it has been for generations, and neither of the two parties care. Difference is, the Republicans make no secret of the fact they don't care, while the Democrats simply pretend to, then go back to sucking up to Wall Street and the tech billionaires of California.
    Serves them right.
