  1. Have not been this excited for a Sonic game let alone 3D Sonic in what feels like ages. To take what was already great about baseline Sonic Generations and add to it with Shadow Generations and it turn out this well is a remarkable achievement for Sonic Team and Sega and hopefully the push they need to continue to only go up from here. As always great review. πŸ₯°πŸ€—

  2. Well generations did had the final boss thing with y'know homing missiles but 3ds fixed that,Despite some things I disagree with i enjoyed this, just saying i mean generations is filled with nostalgic stuff it should be obvious their and the 3ds did have classic sonic doing iirc having the drop dash hot take or something i never doubted ian in the slightest i always appreciate him and his work ,he deserves criticism but he doesn't deserve hate , cool character design,

  3. Some things to note:
You actually have the option to enable lives and the original game's button mapping, which I like. You can even enable legacy button mapping in Shadow Generations which is pretty neat.

  4. Why did you edit the audio so that Sonic said Faker?

I thought it was really cool that he avoided the "Faker" title, when that would come across really badly from Shadow's POV in the context of dealing with some demon-spawn themed self loathing.

  5. Getting this game was actually my first time playing Sonic Gens, and it's pretty fun, and Shadow Gens is wonderful as well, basically Frontiers with tighter controls, and it's all the better for it!

  6. I was so excited for this game that even though I already fucking preordered it on Steam I pirated the Switch ROM the moment it leaked online because I couldn’t bear to wait any longer 😭

  7. 20:19 Mephiles in Shadow Generations is voiced by Robbie Daymond, who voiced Spider-Man (Peter) in the 2017 animated series as well as Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. So you actually aren't wrong there.

  8. 14:29 Sonic x shadow generations was first game since unleashed were it had ambition and was finished. Frontiers was unfinished becouse sonic was just cash grab for sega since 2006 mostly. Heck it could have been second 06 if not for director of game begging sega for 1 year more od game dev so frontiers wasn't finished while sonic x shadow generations was finished at least for 6 mounths

  9. I genuinely have to Say, Modern Sonic in Sky Sanctuary is kinda finicky, the s rank for the doppelganger race is tight af (to s rank this challenge you have to beat it in 3 minutes or below.) which is why i say, Sky Sanctuary Act 2 is one of the weaker levels of generations, it's not bad by any standard, it's just a bit frustrating sometimes to do it perfectly. Classic Sonic Sky Sanctuary is a blast to play through, each path is really fun.
