  1. Noooo you did need the catfish, lady beetle and the little wood satyr butterfly! You've only donated to the museum if the little green museum icon shows up! If they show in your Caught list it just means you've caught them lol, not donated.

Also, you can use the scythe to harvest crops to speed it up.

  2. I'm super happy that you've resumed this playthrough! Wow, you are really good at catching bugs now! The sugarcane regrows, so fertilizing will help with Sam's quest and in general.

  3. I know you want to remain spoiler-free, so I won't spoil anything, but I did want to give you a bit of a warning or heads-up. When you check the fish/insects/sea critters caught tabs, anything you've donated to the museum will have a little green 'museum' icon on the right. At around 10:50 in the video you moused over a few items that didn't have that icon, and then sold them. Those tabs document everything you've caught (or found in the trash cans) but the green icons on the 'cards' to the right tell you which one(s) you've actually donated.

As to potential romance, I've got my eye on Pablo 😉

  4. It technically hasn't released yet. It was rough the first week so I put it down. I'm willing to wait a few months for more polish because I love everything about it so far, minus the bugs. Hehe

  5. Auto transfer into chests is coming. It was in the update that was oops released and pulled back.
You actually unlocked the mine transport right then. You unlock that transport at level 15 of the earth mines.
Copper will get better the deeper you go. Using things like the explosives will also help you. Some of the regular rocks will also have copper in them.
The way down is almost always under one of the small rocks, so don't waste your stamina hitting the large rocks first.
Don't forget to check out Ben's shop on the weekends. He sells a lot of good stuff cheaper than in the normal shops, but more importantly, he sells the good scarecrow for cheap!

  6. I'm loving seeing some more of this game. For me its between Coral Island and Sun Haven as my next big farm life game to put entirely way too much time into. Although there is also Dinkum and SunnySide too that seem pretty interesting.
Man I just need more time for all these games and maybe the money to help support these talented developers.

  7. Regarding the grey flamingos. Grey is actually the natural coloration of the flamingo. The pink is due to their diet, their natural diet consists of microalgae and tiny crustaceans that contain a lot of carotenoids, which is deposited in their feathers, giving them the iconic pink look. When kept in captivity, when fed a healthy diet that lacks carotenoids, they gradually lose the pink color while remaining perfectly healthy. Thus captive flamingos are often given a supplement containing carotenoids to retain their iconic coloration.

  8. Sharky please play this more often, we need more stardew veterans on this game who knows what theyre doing.
This and your rags to riches farm extremely entertaining.

Also if you didnt notice, in the journal you can see a green box to the right of the item to say if you donated an item or not.

  9. I've learned for catching the bugs to not only watch the alert meter but also watch to see when the bug lights up green.
If they light up green, even if not within the cone that pops up at your feet, swing away! There's a very good chance you'll catch them.

  10. I feel very fortunate that my game has been without many bugs and seems to run pretty smoothly outside of known things. I don't get crashes, the things that are supposed to work, work as properly as I'd expect them at this point in time, it's not finished and a lot is missing, but I've been enjoying it for what it is at this point. However, after opening the new area and getting the greenhouse, my game playing has slowed because there, unfortunately, isn't much to do beyond that. I filled out bug reports and left opinions in their discord, so I'm going to let the game relax until a new update/ Might even leave it until it's actually finished, who knows? I'm still excited for the game, though.

  11. I don't know if you've been diving much, but if you dive and get bronze kelp and get or buy glass, you can take it to Ling's lab with kelp essence and permanently upgrade your crops. You won't have to worry about fertilizer as much or, at all, once you get to silver kelp essence. You've just got to get the extractor, but it can taker a long while to get one and you need 6, I believe, for that first seed upgrade, but it applies to all seeds afterwards.

  12. I hope they will update it soon because i am stuck on the diving quest and i cannot go any further because it's still in development. The only thing i can do now is build relationships and farm because i also finished the mines
