Highway turns red after lorry overturns, spills load of canned sardines



A lorry carrying a load of canned sardines overturned across southbound lanes of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) at KM265.9 around 12.43pm on Wednesday (Aug 3), closing the road temporarily to traffic from the Menora Tunnel to Ipoh.

  1. Time for SPAD, JPJ, to use latest app/GPS and IOT technology to track tyre, brakes condition, expiry, inspection, driver & lorry speed information for heavy vehicles. We dont need people who cannot innovate, cannot problem solving and deadwood and running the country. How many accidents and live lost before things change for the better?

  2. What food wastage in this High Inflation period! Speeding Trucks & Lorries seem to be getting common on the Highways nowadays , endangering themselves & other innocent road users!
