  1. Thanks Clark! Glad to hear I did it right! First time new car buyer. Got a new Subaru only 3k higher than I bought used 9 years ago. Not optioned out. 3.9% rate. Better than expected trade in too!

  2. The problem is social security numbers used for credit reporting and tax identity . There has to be a better way . Your pasword can be changed with many other things if conpronised but a social security number is suppose to bevwith you for life unchanged . It is the eingle most security vulnerability we have and it seems like the US is like a dear in the headlights and figure out a better system to reduce the vulnerability.

  3. My sister’s information has been compromised due to a Harvard Pilgrim hack. Harvard Pilgrim is the second largest health insurer in Massachusetts. I wonder if this is related? The parent company is Point32Health. Reportedly they have stolen a huge amount of personal information from the patients. I’m calling my sister right now to tell her to freeze her credit. 😮

  4. Clark, you either lived in Atlanta or used to live in Atlanta. I want you to know that we have been notified through our ring Network we now have property fraud registry for dekalb county. I confirmed that the site was legitimate and registered my home and notified my neighbors and Friends.

  5. Honda, Toyota and Lexus continue to game the system on new car inventory, esp on new hybrids. None available and they want MSRP, plus in most cases they are adding dealer add ons. Shop elsewhere or continue to wait on hybrids from Honda, Toyota or Lexus.

  6. Hi Clark. My wife is Leary of signing up with these credit places. Experion required our social security account number. I thought you said never give it out? What’s up with that? John

  7. I had heard Jeeps were overstocked at dealers so I went to see a new wrangler but when we negotiated the dealer actually inflated the price above msrp as to negate some dealer and manufacturer incentives plus I had a trade with $15000 equity per Kelly blue book in it and that too was cut down to give me only a $7000 trade value. I left the dealership and told them to call me when they’re ready to deal better. I’m not seeing what everyone says about new car prices coming down. I live in North Florida.

  8. The situation with new auto inventory is very brand dependent. Yes, some brands are back to normal or above but others, especially Honda and Toyota are still waay below their precovid inventory levels. In “normal” times auto inventory levels are much more evenly distributed across brands (i.e., you don’t get into situations where say Chrysler has say twice the historical inventory level while at the same time Honda is at a quarter of its long term inventory level).

  9. Excellent advice, on almost everything. 🙂 I worked as a personal injury investigator for personal injury law firms and still working with, and telling anyone to carry the very minimum on auto insurance is wrong. I’ve seen people do that and eventually they find themselves in situations, they wish they’d had paid more.
However, if anyone was going to buy a vehicle for a child who is still living with his or her parents. It’s best to have their vehicle under the child’s name ONLY and insurance Only under their name on a separate policy. If they they get into an accident that is their fault, the injured party wouldn’t be able to sue the parents. So, for liability reasons, that’s the best way to go. 😊

  10. I disagree with this video… bought a Prius 2022 at the beginning of 2022 and sold it march 2023 paid $31,400 new and got $29,400 with 14,000 miles on it… where could I drive a car for 14,000 for $2,000??? No where!

  11. All of those types of cars he said are over stocked with dropping prices are not the best cars anyway. They couldn't give me a Buick. Dodges and Chrysler aren't much better. Jeeps are trash also.

  12. stop buying car and trucks and let the greedy dealers go down the tubes . the prices are coming down but don't buy let the greedy dealers go out of businesses . and it will send a message to the new dealers coming in they will not raise prices and in turn you will get a munch better deal. and work with advocate like car edge.
