  1. No matter what anyone says, the best stories have happy endings, and at the end of a story, we all want to hear the words, "and they lived happily ever after". Case in point, no one gripes about how DA ended, unlike GOT, which people are still mad as hell about to this day., and probably will be until the day after forever.

  2. Although Downton Abbey was a good show to watch but my comment is that that the high society people of that time were very demanding and I think that they really took the opportunity to over work these poor people

  3. What you're calling the "first scene" is really three minutes into the first episode. In the first three minutes, we see the telegraph operator's hand typing out news of the Titanic, Mr. Bates on the train, a conversation among the staff of the recipients of the telegraph, Daisy waking up the servants, Daisy's conversation with Mrs. Patmore, and Daisy making her way upstairs. All of that happens before Thomas enters the Hall and asks, "any sign of William." I'm sure you know that, Downton Abbey YouTube account 🙂, so I'm curious why you decided to start this video so late into the episode.

  4. Believe it or not my 22 year old son and his best friend binge watched this series. They went on and on about how intelligent the writing was, the plot twists, hating on certain characters, the excellent acting,, the beautiful costumes and settings. I had to watch for myself. From the first episode I was in love with this show. IF there is anyone out there who hasn't watched this series, what are you waiting for?
    I miss it terribly

  5. I can perfectly picture Lord and Lady Grantham behaving as noble as Isidor and Ida Strauss if they were in the Titanic. Heartbreaking but admirable at the same time. Such rich people materially and inside their hearts as well.
