After waiting way too long it was finally time to rock with Evanescence in Leipzig! They played a captivating set containing many songs from their newest album The Bitter Truth, but of course also classics like Bring Me To Life, Going Under and My Immortal from Fallen (which recently went Diamond in the US). Amy pushed through this set for us despite suffering from voice problems, which I am so grateful for.

I feel so lucky that Amy was able to sing and perform at all. She told the crowd that she had problems with her voice and even when she was just speaking it was audible how much she was fighting, but they did not want to postpone the concert again. I am so grateful how she pushed through the pain for us. It is completely understandable why they had to shorten their set (for instance, vocally very challenging songs like Call Me When You're Sober were missing).
Anyways, I am still in a rush and had an amazing evening. Evanescence, you will forever be rockstars! 🤘🎸
