The environmental assessment clears the way for giant rocket test flights into orbit, but any missions to Mars will launch from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center.

To the best of my knowledge, they have never yet attempted to "ignite all 33 booster engines at once." They did a "spin prime test". This released methane gasses which were accidentally ignited by a nearby source of heat.

Makes sense if they could carry an extra fuel load for the return on it and the human 2nd rocket some extra fuel so they could do a return trip . Before you get excited the fuel would be in fuel packs some way.
It won't launch from Florida, it will launch from sea based mobile launch sites.
The FAA should just back off a bit and let Elon do what he wants to. It's called "free enterprise" and it get the job done.

The news on the KSC pad 39A seems to need some updating. For the launch tower already had its nine sections piled up yesterday or earlier. The tower is not yet ready, but is fully piled up.

I have a question about space for you..how much fuel difference between a launch from earth comparison to the launch from the surface of the moon
Huge update … starship is no longer a rocket, it will be a submarine.
The mishap with 33 engines spin test did not include ignition. The fuel mix was ignited by a near by generator. The ignition was not planned..
I would think a few test hops to build confidence and ensure NASA that HB and Starship can indeed be caught.

Well, with environmental challenges in Texas and NASA raising conserns the Super heavy rocket could blow up at launch in Florida and destroy NASA's infrastructure.!😣 Besides, we haven't seen what will happen when a hundred meter or so tall rocket, nine meters in diameter get pushed up by thirty or so engines each producing well over two hundred ton. Say thirty engines at roughly 233 plus ton pressure each, a total pressure on the bottom of the rocket booster of approximately seven thousand ton ! That is 7000 metric ton, or 7 million kilos, or 15million four hundred thousand pound pressure !!!💣🤤 What could possibly go wrong??? Imagine, a locomotive might weighs say 70 metric ton, so a hundred such locomotives would weigh 7000 metric tons, or the same as the combined thrusts of the Super heavy rocket boosters – and the TOTAL FORCE the engines will excert on the bottom of the booster to get it airborne. 🤔 Just imagine that for a moment.!!! ❔👀 what could possibly go wrong? Well, virtually everything must be the short answer.🤔 !!!
