Intro from the lesson quarterly:
The present Bible study guide deals with the subject of the great controversy between good and evil from the perspective of two major themes. One is the origin and ongoing existence of sin and death. The other theme is God’s enduring work to solve these problems and bring the world back to its original perfect condition. Special emphasis is given also to the mortal nature of human beings and how the resurrection is what leads to immortality. In reality, we should not fear death because Christ died for us and overcame the power of death. Actually, we are assured that He holds “ ‘the keys to death and to the place of the dead’ ” (Rev. 1:18, NCV).
This quarter we will explore the painful subject of death but through the lens of the hope offered us through Jesus. 🌏

    Pastor Bohr, thank you so much for helping us to understand the chronology of this passage in Rev 16…pointing out the parenthetical verses and explaining this cluster of verses. We appreciate your insight. We all had better learn to submit to the Holy Spirit in the trials we face. We will all be tested & tried, and made white if we hold to God & His Truth, not loving our lives to death.

  19. Where they WARNED – ADAM and EVE didn't they understand the whole heaven story and consequences
    you guys make it sound like ADAM and EVE had no idea of DEATH

    its wasn't all external – theology – GOD IS LOVE you won't die – do we see same nuances in our theology creeping in
    But Satan, ever vigilant and seeking whom he may devour, sets upon the track of these inquiring souls. Someone making high profession as a reformer comes to souls (as Satan came to Christ) as an angel of light; he gains the confidence of these souls and then uses his influence to deceive them. His garments of righteousness cover a soul leprous with sin. We look and wonder how it is possible for such men to obtain the least influence over women of virtue and of good reasoning powers when the Word of God is so plain and definite upon the points where they are deceived. Paul had to meet just such characters in his day. He writes, “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.”

  20. This is the first time I have been left so confused Pastor. The 7 last plagues have always been taught are after probation has ended…. Until this message says otherwise. Why is this wrench thrown in now? 64 years I’ve understood this subject, until today. I’ve watched this twice now and I’m still confused. Good help me to understand this intense study.
