  1. First of all, great video

    Second of all, a Theory:

Jokes aside of the my plans are beyond your comprehension thing is that by what I can see the Greater will wanted to see the player's intention, cause like how it was mentioned in this video the greater will had no more choice but to take the scraps of the bottle, which is the player. And as it goes on the story many sins are done to the extent that they don't want the player as the elden lord.

That is why I believe the greater will wanted to see to the very end what the player was going to do since its a neutral side unlike the demigods

  2. Thank y'all for explaining all the lore for us who enjoy the From Soft games but can never fully wrap our heads around all the dialogue and item descriptions. Helps me to get more invested in what I am doing in Elden Ring and to figure out what the rewards and consequences are for our choices in the endings.

  3. The greater will couldve brought the tarnished into play more so to motivate the elden lords then to just kill em which could explain why it wouldnt open to us. That or Marika and Radagon effectively locked themselves in so the greater will is cool with us breaking the lock (burning the tree) in order to take em out and then expects us to just golden order ending that shit so that everything comes full circle. IDK the fingers just start communing end game and idk if there are even any fingers alive for them to talk too are they just in a discord call talking shit omnipotently about our decisions and taking bets with the 3 fingers!!! Ty for the videos really helps me out in my own journey to discovering wtf is happening in the lands between

  4. I think Gideon gets it right in his dialogue, that Queen Marika wants everyone to suffer for all eternity and she’s the one who doesn’t let you into the urtree initially, but when you burn the tree and help commit the Cardinal sin that’s when Radagon and the Greater will decide they want you dead

  5. My two primary theories for why the Greater Will brought in the Tarnished, only to lock the gates once one of you actually GOT everything needed to repair the Elden Ring and become Elden Lord:

    1) You did everything exactly as planned, and EVENTUALLY the Greater Will plans on honoring its end of the bargain. However, it still needs to do some troubleshooting of EldtreeOS, and now that you are well and truly immortal and more or less the most powerful person in the land, He believes you can afford to wait a few centuries before it opens the Tree and makes you Elden Lord. Unfortunately, you were born a mortal and not an immortal, so the idea of just waiting for a few hundred years ain't flying with you. So you then fuck up everything by literally burning down the door and B&Eing into His apartment, and thus the Elden Beast is sent out to put you back in your place. This is partially supported by the Two Fingers lady saying that she's communing with the Greater Will, but don't expect a response for awhile

    2) The Greater Will wants to make DAMN sure this Elden Lord will actually stick this time, so both the locked door and the Elden Beast were a final test of resolve. Specifically, whether you actually had the WILL to be Elden Lord, and weren't just another overleveled power hungry demigod. This one is supported partially by Marika's whole declaration to her Children to man up or be sacrifices.

I also have a third theory, the mayhaps Radagon somehow subverted both the Beast and the Eldtree to stop you from taking his throne, but this one is the weakest theory of the bunch.

  6. What if the Greater Will resurrected the tranished so they can collect the elden ring shards and the great runes etc. from all the demigods and then they can be disposed of? If Radagan were to beat the tranished, it would have all (or enough of) the shards needed to fix the elden ring and become the elden lord again which is probably what the Greater Will wants anyway – to restore the order of things to how it used to be before the shattering, as much as possible

  7. @Misc Content , thanks for another great video , Misc have u ever thought of the existence of greater will , elden ring and marika like the holy trinity concept ?
like : greater willl = father , marika = son (the physical manifestation of the god) , elden ring = holy spirit !

  8. 21:50 he was holding “stars” in place so she didn’t fight at him full power that’s why all those meteors start falling upon the land and passing by there planet after we kill him and holding all that in place would take huge amounts of his magic most likely

Just a theory but bc of his magic he was stopping ranni from her destiny that’s why we have to slay him to open the underground city he basically had to Demi-gods at a standstill

  9. There's another thing, the Black Knives are found all over her conspirators after you do Rannis quest and all over Haligtree. Are they really under her control? Why would they kill off her advisors if they're under her control?

  10. Radahn is the strongest because he won the fight against Melania, amputating her arm and critically wounding her forcing her to try and recover at the Haligtree which she can't. Instead she's stuck at Halligtree permanently obsessed and with fevor waiting for Miquella and fighting off the scarlet rot which is furthering her mental decay.

  11. Mog spirits Miquella away because an unformed God starts whispering to him. Which makes the cocoon really weird because if Miquella is permanently a child what the hell is trying to come out?

  12. Another thing is Godwyn and Marika, Godwyns eyes hollow out and he becomes Tarnishes abandoned by the Greater Will after he conquers the world. Being Tarnished is pretty messed up if you think about it from Marika's perspective. Imagine having your free will stripped from you for divine purpose and then having it leave once it's done with you. After it leaves him, he's locked out from being able to see Marika at all, because the tree rejects him. All of their children are cursed, two omens, an enternal child, a frail weakling, and the cosmic rot. Then and only then Radagon appears and settles the civil war and he has three children with no deformities, and he is beloved as a champion.

  13. The Death root thing is a culmination of bodies that Fortesaax collected to try and preserve Godwyns soul, he was trying to fend off death from claiming it but became a lichdragon. The problem I think we're having with understanding is that it's Godwyn the second, Marika lost two children at the same time Godwyn and Ranni.

  14. The Shattering, they're fighting over great runes yes, but the reason why alot of them were at a standstill is because their motivations were all over the place.
Malenia was insane after losing Miquella whom she loved and probably lashed out accusing everyone.
Godwyn wanted to be respected but no one took him seriously which is probably why the starter area is relatively pristine.
Liurnia is a little more complicated because Renalla was broken after losing Radagon, and Ranni committed true suicide they locked her up and spammed spirits to keep invaders away. This allowed Radahn to ride out and maintain order in the war, but him being the absolute god that he is, realized some truths. He kept the stars at bay, likely because he realized what is up there thanks to his mom, and his sister's true ambitions and defeated Malenia kicking her out of Caelid. Which means he probably also kept Mohg and the formless one at bay as well.

  15. One thing about Malenia and Radahn, it's explicitly stated that "she sacrificed her pride and will to resist the rot to meet Radahn's measure" by her daughter, in Milicent's questline she states this. Given the fact that Malenia also ends up unconscious after her bloom, as is stated in the cleanrot knight ashes, it leads me to Believe Radahn pushed Malenia to use her last resort (aka the rot, it's a last resort because releasing it rots her as well), because his moniker as the mightiest demigod was no exaggerated tale, he was fighting Malenia notably with little damage or effort in the cutscene, all the while holding up the stars which contain literal outergods.

So in conclusion, I would say Malenia on her own merit is not as strong as Radahn, she basically used a nuke and then passed out, which fucked up her body as well.
